Tyler Castle

"Oh hey Jess. How ar-" I was cut off. Jeez what's so important that you had to cut me off?

"Shut up and listen," she snapped.

"What do you want now?" I asked.

"Oh, this is not for me, at least this time. I have an idea. Why don't we just go to the mall and shop." Something was up. I don't know what, but I'm going to find out. Whatever Jessica has planned, I will ruin. (Evil laugh). No? Okay. Whatever.

"Okay, fine. When?"

"Now!" She shouted and hung up.

Of course, typical Jessica. That was so random and in the middle of the day? What's going on in her mind. I mentally roll my eyes and hop in the shower. It is two thirty in the afternoon. Ryder left to help his mom with the carnival and gave Jess and I a "day off" even though we didn't do anything yesterday. Yes, I'm home alone, Hanna went to her friends house, I think.

I turn on the shower and wait for the warm water. I look at myself in the mirror. So many things happened in my life and it was only just a month since I've been here. Everything is still the same. Ryder is still somewhat an ass. Hanna still small. And Ryder's mom is always busy. Aaron, none of us seen him ever since my first day here and Claire haven't told us anything about him.

Steam starts lurking through the mirror and my reflection goes away, I get in, take my usual shower. Get out, wrap my towel and step out my bathroom.

I go into my dresser and look to see what I'm going to wear. Well, honestly I have nothing to wear with the fact that I only have six outfits that I've had since I was fifteen. Yes, they still fit me. I swear as much as I try to gain weight it never happens. Well, I guess I'll wear my plain black shirt and a pair of gray sweats. It looked pretty nice out, hey it is the middle of the fall. I put on a pair of my old black converse and a pull over hoodie. Looking at myself in the mirror. Maybe I should get more clothes. I chuckle to myself and take about two hundred dollars with me. I'm not like those type of girls who carry twenty freaking pounds they call a purse around my shoulder, I simply grab money and shove it in my pocket. Then done.

My phone rings again. I look at the screen and see the picture that Jess and I took during spring break last year. Her mom and dad told Jessica that she could bring one friend to the trip they were going on, (to Orlando, Florida) and of course she was going to pick Luke but they denied her request and she chose me. I look at the picture more, I was wearing a classic one piece and if you only knew Jessica like I did, I knew she was going to wear a strapless two piece. She was wearing sunglasses and I had mine on the top of my head. We looked like smiling fools. I smile and finally pick up the phone.

"Damn Tyler, how long does it take you to answer a fucking phone? Anyways, you ready?" She asked.

"Yup," I popped the 'p.'

"Okay, be outside in five minutes," she said.

"Okey dokey."

"Don't ever say that, ever again," she playfully had an attitude.

"Okay, fine. Bye," I spat in disappointment.

She instantly hung up.

I put on a sweater and start heading down stairs. The hallway was quiet, really quiet. Walking down the stairs I hear Jessica honking the horn. I'm coming, I'm coming. Calm your nipples.

I swing the door open and quickly shut it, then locking it. She looked at me motioning her head for me to walk towards the car. I walk slowly to the car, knowing that she wants me to hurry up. She rolls her eyes becoming frustrated and then rolls the passenger window down.
