"Okay, good. Everyone's here?" Claire looked at her clipboard and back at us.
We all nodded our heads, all but Jessica. She complained. Why wouldn't she? She's Jessica.
"We have a lot of things to cover today, I just want to get rid of all the stands and snack bars. In an hour or so, some people are going to come to bring some rides and test them out," Claire said, and smiled.
Then she assigned us with jobs. I had to put up the kissing booth with Jessica.
Ryder and Alex and to put up a snack bar. Also, Luke and Chris had to do another snack bar.
We started the booths, but not as quick as I expected we would put it together.
"Tyler, where does this go?" Jessica pointed to the base of the kissing booth.
"Hey, what about if you make the kissing booth sign. Make it pink, red, purple, or whatever. Make it colorful and try to add some Halloween stuff," I gave Jessica thirty dollars so she can go to the craft store. She felt kind of insulted but didn't make a comment because she knew she wasn't fit to build things.
I started nailing the wood together and apparently, I'm never good at nailing. That's the part that I failed in wood shop. It's sad that I can't even make a bird house without a hundred nails around the whole house.

I step back and look at the messed up stand. Something about it, made it looked weird. I don't know what but it look weird. And it's been an hour and Jessica still hasn't come back from the store.
I put my figure under my chin like how they do it in mystery movies and stuff. Then I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on my cheek.
"Looks like you need help, babe," a deep masculine voice spoke in my ear. And the smell of beer pondered through my nose.
I turn around and see Chris. His eyes were drooping and he was slouching. I push him off.
"Chris, where did you get the beer?"
He lost his balance and before he hit his face onto the ground, I picked him up.
Gosh, why is he so heavy. Oh that's right, he works out. I sigh. It's like another episode of taking care of a drunk Ryder.
I drag him to where they were building the snack bar and there's no Luke. Are you shitting me? I set Chris down on to a chair.
Walking around the empty lot. No one seems to be here.
I walk by the bathrooms and look around the girls bathroom. It was quiet. The bathrooms were also creepy, and it smelled. Like Ryder's room. I chuckled to myself and then I heard a "sh" one of the stalls.
I bend down and look underneath the stalls, I see a pair of coral high heels and a pair of Jordan's. So, I slowly walk to the bathroom door and close it.
"I think they're gone," Jessica whispered.
"Luke, go check."
The stall door opened and Luke looked over at me and quickly went back into the stall.
"What, what did you see?" She raised her voice.
I walk over to the stall and open it. I look over at Luke and Jessica, they give me a fake smile.
"Get out," I demanded.
"Ewe, why so snappy?"
They both went outside and I questioned them.
