THREE the unmasking
MATTIA: "Oh for f*ck sake, James. Can you please put down that pocket mirror and actually focus on the interrogation! We're nearly there!"
JAMES: *pouts dramatically and takes out some clear lipgloss* "Don't you boss me around, sister! I can't be seen sweating during an interrogation, now can I? Do you know how blocked up your pores can get? The thought makes me tremble."
MADELEINE LA ROJA: "Gotta say, I love the choice of gloss, sister James. Yves Sand Laurent products are simply a must for your day to day routines. It's actually what I'm wearing currently."
MATTIA: "Enough beauty and bragging privileges, you two. We're nearly finished this interrogation and we're getting sidetracked? Come on guys, we're better than this. But speaking of fashion and clothes, where were we? Yes, the duffel bag you had in the restrooms."
MADELEINE LA ROJA: "You make it out to sound like duffel bags are horrible in general. *turns to james* It's a real Lewis Vuitton, you know. Very handy and fashionable for emergencies and travel luggage. An item I can't live without, second to martinis."
MATTIA: "We asked some of the officers to take the bag and search through it for any suspicious looking items. Anything you want to confess on having before they report back to me?"
MADELEINE LA ROJA: "I am a smoker, but I'm not too sure if there was another packet of cigarettes in there. Nothing illegal, of course. It's only a light travel size bag, so all I did was take out the clothes I changed into and put Marlene's old ones in there. You can check with your team or whatever, the old clothes is all you'll find in there."
JAMES: "Sister, honestly, lets be real here. Why even bother to wear the cloud dress and have to take it off? The thing is a huge clump ready for sweaty underarms and pores!"
MATTIA: *gives james a 'really?' look*
MADELEINE LA ROJA: "Although it wasn't my style, I had to support Raphaël in my own way and that meant wearing the dress for a few minutes. As I told you, I gave it to Marlene, who I knew as a Raphaël super fan, and approached me right outside the venue when she noticed I wasn't digging the dress's vibes."
MATTIA: "I could understand wearing the dress for the press outside, but you didn't even go into the exhibit room at all?"
MADELEINE LA ROJA: "Look, I need to get one thing straight here, which I should've spoken with Raphaël and Louise about before. Attending shows aren't my cup of tea, but I get invited to hundreds annually. The main reason I do attend them and wait until they're over is for the afterparties. They're what I'm there for."
