~Emma's POV~

"Jackie Swan to the stand."

"Jackie this it. I need you tell the people what you told me. I know you're nervous. Just tell them."

"I don't wanna daddy," she hides her face.

"Please Jackie. Daddy will get you a treat for doing good."

"Okay." She walks down the path and towards the stand. "You come?"

"No sweetie I have to stay here. Go sit next to the judge." She approaches the stand and takes a seat.

"Jackie Swan," the prosecutor says. "How are you?" Jackie ignores the man. "Jackie?"

"What?"

"How are you?"

"I don't know you. I wanna talk to someone else." She looks at me and I whisper something to him her. She straightens up and looks at the prosecutor. "I am okay. Daddy says I gotta tell you what is saw."

"Yes Jackie. I'm gonna ask you some-"

"I don't like you. You make me feel sad."

"I'm... I'm sorry? Uh first question. What were you doing on the day in question with your dad?"

"Doing stuff with my sisters and brother."

"What made you and the defendant leave your home?"

"Pizza."

"Were you left in the car?"

"No. I told daddy I wanna stay. She wanted me to go inside but I chose to stay."

"Okay and what did you see in the car?"

"Your mom," she giggles. I laugh quietly with a few others.

"Ms. Jackie please answer the question?" The judge says.

"Uh I saw two people. One man taked the other man ina car and shoot him. Then he drive off. His gun look like this." She pulls a piece of paper out her pocket and unfolds it. "See it looks like that one. Daddy said it might help. Can you not send my daddy to jail? I'd miss her too much." The whole courtroom awes at Jackie. That's my little girl. So damn precious.

"What we're you doing the car?"

"Waiting for daddy. I was talking to myself and looking out the window."

"Do you remember what you were talking about?"

"Yes."

"What did you say?"

"I said hey what a wonderful kind day. If you can learn to work and play and get along with each other," Jackie sings the Arthur theme song. "Then the guy in the car parking two spots away from daddy's car in the handicap. Then I said hey he can't park there. Daddy got a handicap placard for cuz I have autism. It's got a little picture of me on it. It says Jackie."

"So you're aware of your condition?"

"Yea?"

"Jackie is it hard for you to remember sometimes?"

"No, why?"

"Your honor how do we know if she can remember the day in question?"

"Hey! Stop talking around me and talk to me, bitch."
