i wonder what you'd say
if i took it all off
and showed you just what it looks like
when i am human.
please don't be afraid.the eyeballs, the fingernails and the teeth
are all for show.
i guess it only matters
if my brain produces serotonin.i wonder
if oxygen is as important as the sun but
i know it's not one without the other.
i feel that way about us sometimes.if i tell you about my heart, my guts and my lungs,
will you run away?
if i let you see me,
will you run away?
if i let you touch me,
will you run away?do you ever wonder
about the softness of lips,
(two pairs or a cheek)
and the way a voice
can make you feel whole?— the anatomy of an "i love you."
