1. Back to the present, Peter is walking down the streets with his resistance for the first time, to announce God's plans loud and clear.

2. "Just like Jeremiah heard from the Lord, I also hear: 'For I know the plans I have for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.'"
The prophet says.

3. "And what are those plans, exactly? You say you're a prophet of God but you want to destroy our church!"
A random catholic passerby screams, skeptical of Peter's words.

4. "You see, my dear, I don't want to destroy the church, neither our faithful brothers and sisters. God sent me to tear down the walls of hypocrisy and sins that those so called 'priests' built around our Savior's house.
5. Those men are lost and corrupted by the power they think they have."
Peter replies with firmness in his tone.

6. "So what now? You've gotta a biblical metaphor for this scenario too? Did the Lord made another prophet whisper in your ear again?"
Another random skeptical asks, condescendingly.

7. "Even better... Most of the people believe that the book of Genesis was written by Moses. But the Pentateuch was more than just a prophet's report of God, it also contain rewritings of other prophets.
8. The first book of our holy bible is a mystery even nowadays, but I know who did note it down, because God told me the whole story dozens of times. I can tell you right now that it was just a simple pharisee who saw the destruction of the tower.
9. And just like him, we're all simple men. We all can see the destruction of the tower. A tower that now has a name: the Vatican!!!"
Peter declares with rage.

10. "Why do you think the Vatican is lost?"
This time, a teenage curious girl asks.

11. "Don't you see? They are forcing false doctrines and inducing a 'modernization' of our Lord's holy lessons and commandments!
12. They have lost the focus to God, just to be popular and lure every single wicked soul to them.
13. That is not how it works, one has to confess their regrets to get into heaven! One has to show they learn from their mistakes! One has to worship truly and only our Father!!!"
The prophet replies with rigor and wisdom, and the whole crowd surrounding him start to cherish and scream his name.

14. Meanwhile, back in Peter's office, Nina is organizing the room for when he comes back. Abate finds her, gets in the room, and locks the door.

15. "Brother Abate? What are you doing?"
The woman asks, confused.

16. "Nina, I've found something, and the Lord wants me to tell you. It's not fair for you to keep living a lie."
Abate replies.

17. "What is it? You're making me nervous..."
Nina asks firmly to get a direct answer as soon as possible.

18. "First of all, I want you to know that I'm not a follower of Peter's. I'm actually a cardinal, and the personal assistant of Pope Francis."
Abate confesses.

19. "What?!?!"
Nina says loudly with disbelief in her eyes. She couldn't take the fact that one of her friends lied to her just like that.

20. "Listen to me, I know you're mad because I omitted it. But all I did was under orders, please understand..."
The cardinal pleads.

21. "Well... I guess I can forgive you... But only if you either confess to Peter as well or leave the resistance!"
Nina replies with rigorous tone.

22. "Don't worry, I will leave. But I have to show you something before! Please, believe me, it's for your own good!"
Abate begs.

23. "Why would I believe you now that you've lied your whole story?"
Nina makes a good point.

24. "Because I know about your story, little Esther. I know how blessed you are."
The cardinal replies, softly and joyfully happy for her story.

25. "How...?"
Nina asks.

"I found these on Peter's desk."
Abate gives her the notes.

26. "What?"
She takes the notes, and divides her staring into them and Abate, confused about what's happening.

27. "Just read it... I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth... I really am."
The cardinal asks for forgiveness, with a hand in his heart.

28. "Ok... I'll read it... But where are you going now? Back to Vatican?"
Nina asks. Even disbelieved with Abate's lies, she still considered him one of her friends, who was always there to chat with her during the resistance's communions.

29. "No... My curiosity condemned me to see and experience things that destroyed my heart, and left me dirty inside. God told me that to redeem myself, I have to go where He tells me to. It's like a sabbatical retreat..."
The cardinal replies with a weight in his heart, soul, and conciousness.

30. "Are you alright?"
She asks, concerned

31. "I will be. Goodbye, Nina. Do the right thing. I hope you'll be fine."
Abate farewells her.

"Goodbye..."
Nina does it as well.

32. Abate leaves and goes directly to his mission to purify his soul. He still believes that doing everything that God tells him to do, he'll finish in time to help his brothers and the Holy Father to face the eminent danger of Peter's idealism.
33. But before leaving to his sabbatical retreat, he sents a message about some things he found about the prophet to Pietro Parolin, the Vatican's secretary of state, so he could pass it to Pope Francis, completing Abate's assignment as a spy.
