1. It's the dawn of day. Pope Francis is accompanied by Parolin and Abate in his papal office. He looks through the window, frightened and impatient, until he finally says:
"It's time..."2. "How do you know, Holy father?"
Parolin asks him. The pope stays silent for a few seconds and starts to say:3. "So the people shouted..."
And the people of the resistance outside the Basilica shouted.
4. "When the priests blew with the trumpets..."
And the big men in front of them blew their trumpets.
5. "And it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet..."
The people were concentrated in silence.
6. "And the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat..."
And then, the people shouted, tearing down the walls.
7. "So that the people went up into the city..."
The resistance went forward into St. Peter's Square.
8. "Every man straight before him..."
The big men dropped their trumpets, and everyone gathered their spears, swords, and shields.
9. "And they took the city..."
The people inside the piazza, standing by their church and the pope's reign, started to run forward the resistance, also with their weapons.10. The scene is very balanced until a few minutes later, where it becomes brutal and bloody, with people lifelessly falling in both sides.
11. "You two! Grab every document and scripture you can and escape through the tunnels, now!"
The Holy Father adresses the assignment to Abate and Parolin.12. "Your Holiness, what about you?"
Abate, concerned, asks."I'll be just fine! Go!!"
The pope replies.13. The two cardinals run to protect their holy scrolls, as the Patriarch Francis stays in his papal office.
14. Peter manages to get into the basilica, and with 3 men, he climbs up to find the pope.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Pontiff goes to the facade where he makes his homilies and sees the massacre in front of his eyes.15. " I won, Holy Father..."
Peter says, as he arrives in the same place that Pope Francis was.16. "No, Simeon, you haven't."
The pope turns back to him and replies, with absolute certainty.17. "My name is not Simeon, God named me Peter!!"
The prophet screams, enraged because no one has the right to call him Simeon anymore.18. "No, he didn't. Because the one that has been talking to you is not Him... it's the Devil!"
The Holy Father declares.19. "What are you talking about?"
Peter asks, misunderstood.20. "That's why you are so obsessed with the old times... with the old testament. Because there was always room to adore the satan, or should I call him 'Baal' as well?"
Pope Francis explains.21. "You have a great imagination."
Peter replies with sarcasm. But before he could disprove it, the pope continues:22. "Not only for that, but because they would raise altars and ginormous buildings for him. He could manipulate everyone he wanted. And mainly, the son of God wasn't around to take the people away from his hell."
The Supreme Pontiff points out.23. "God made the prophets talk to me!"
The prophet denies, loud and clear.24. "No, the devil did, because he was always there. He was there when Moses impatiently hit the rock three times... when Jacob entered Isaac's room to trick him to give the birthright... and also when David unfairly sent Bathsheba's husband to the battlefield to die, so could he have her as his wife...
25. Just like you did with Nina's fiancee, am I right?"
Pope Francis explains, as Peter's surprised face drops into denial once again. But the prophet replies, not afraid of repercussions.26. "It looks like you've got your answers, Holy Father."
Peter says.27. "Oh, don't be jealous, God didn't talk to me. It was actually His absence that made me realize that He chose me because I am capable. He wouldn't abandon me, now...
28. You see, maybe St. Malachy did have that vision. But it wasn't God's dream, it was the devil's nightmare. A backup plan, in case of his wars and terrorisms fails. It was a good plan, but our Lord is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient!"
Pope Francis declared with confidence.29. "Well thought, 'Francesco'... But do you think you will get out of here?"
Peter gets close to the pope, insinuating his death.30. "I've embraced my fate and accepted to die for my God. I don't care if I told this in vain, I did what He would've wanted me to do."
The Supreme Pontiff says, accepting his destiny and putting his life in the hands of the Lord.31. "Good for you, because no one will ever know or believe this."
Peter puts his sword up, ready to impale Pope Francis and finally fulfill the prophecy.32. "We will!"
One of Peter's followers enters the room and stops the murder.33. "We heard everything, Peter."
Another one of Peter's devouts says"What?! You set me up!"
Peter accuses the Holy Father.34. "No, we heard in our heads. Everyone did..."
Another follower of Peter's explains and justifies what happened. They try to hold Peter, but he refuses to lose now that he came so far.35. "Get off me!!!"
Peter screams and runs to the balcony.
"This is not the end, Francis..."
He walks backwards, getting closer and closer to the edge of the facade.36. "Peter! Don't do this! You can ask for forgiveness and put all of this behind."
Even being threatened a few seconds earlier, the pope begs for Peter's life.37. "Why would I need redemption if all I did was serve God?"
Peter replies, and lets his body go, falling from the top floor of the basilica, directly with his back to the ground.38. The catholics yell with a great shout:
"The war is over!!!"
And everybody cherish with joy and happiness for their own lives.39. Back to the facade, the pope can't believe that he managed to save the church. Abate and Parolin arrive in the room as well.
40. "You made it, Holy Father. You saved us all!"
Parolin says, as he and the men who stopped Peter from murdering the pope start to leave the basilica to declare victory of God.41. "How did that happen? How did everyone hear what we were talking about?"
Pope Francis asks Abate.42. "Well... What if I say that it was neither magic or technology? What if I say it was God?"
Abate says.43. "Then, son... You'd probably be a hundred percent correct".
The pope replies, as Abate smiles, seeing the reconciliation of the Supreme Pontiff with the Almighty Lord.
44. "Now, I want you to go down there and comfort the people who lost their beloved ones. Tell them that tonight there will be a mass for the people who sacrificed themselves for God, in both sides. I want you and Parolin to conduct the prayers.
45. Then, I want you to spread the word that there will be a homily tomorrow at midday, and it will probably be the most important I've ever done. Now, go, your eminence."
The Patriarch orders.46. The cardinal does what he was told to do, as a group of seven people, still devoted to their prophet, carry Peter's body to their home, so there could be a decent funeral.
47. In that night, the prayers pierce the sky, as they learn from their own mistakes. The people go home, and before going to sleep, they pray for Pope Francis, for he was such a merciful leader.
48. The night came to an end with the Supreme Pontiff in his office writing something down. The sky dawns again, as the pope is ready for his speech.
