Ryan's POV.
"Is he going to be okay?" I say hastily towards one of the nurses walking into my room. Andy has been laying unconscious on my bed for most of the day.
"Yes, your majesty. He should be waking up soon. The cut on his neck wasn't deep enough to do to much damage." Her face is focused as she cleans up her work station.
"He's been out for almost an entire day!" I sigh feeling quite exhausted from the worrying and not sleeping.
"He should wake up soon Prince Ryan. In the mean time please try and get some rest." She bows and leaves the room closing the door behind her.
I take a few steps and sit on my bed next to him. His entire body is limp and his breaths very shallow. A sadness settles into my chest, wishing I could fix it and him wake up right at this second, But I can't. I pick up his hand and kiss the top of it softly.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't there before they got into the room, Andy." I softly rub circles on to his hand.
"I know you can't really hear me, but the rebels are gone. When me and Brooklyn found you my father had a not so civil conversation with the French leader. They ended up retreating...So your safe now..." I glance at his face still not moving other than his slow breaths.
A low sigh escapes my mouth as I rest my head softly on his shoulder. My fingers find themselves intertwined with his and calming feeling slowly starts talking over my body finally meeting with my eyes.
"I love you Andy.." I whisper before I let sleep take me under.

My eyes open then close when I feel a soft hand running through my hair."Please mother just let me sleep." I protest hugging the warm body underneath me.
"I'm not your mother Ryan." His voice made me shoot up, immediately hugging him.
"Andy, you're awake!"
"Yeah? Why's that a big deal?" He laughs.
I pull away to look him in the eyes
"Because you've been asleep for two days." My hand meet his cheek. "I thought I lost you when you didn't wake up."
"I'm fine Rye."
"I know I just.."
He pulls my hand down to his chest making me feel his heartbeat. "See, I'm fine."I smile leaning forward to kiss him softly. And right on cue the butterflies flutter in my stomach.
"How long have you been awake?" I say breaking the kiss.
"Not long. The nurse came in and checked on me and saw you were asleep. She said you hadn't slept since the night everything happened." He frowns. "Why didn't you sleep?"
"Because I was worried about you." Lay back down on his chest carefully. I don't usually like to be the vulnerable one but right now I'm tired and letting him cuddle me is what I need.
"Well I'm fine. But the better question is how are you doing..." his hand softly goes back to my hair sending goosebumps down my spine.
"I know you had to... take care of that rebel. And doing something like that isn't easy..." his voice is shaky, sounding more nervous to ask the question than actually hearing the answer.

In all honesty I haven't thought about the man that I killed since it happened, I've been to worried about Andy.
