Shawn fell into bed mentally and physically, and most of all emotionally, exhausted. He was angry at himself for falling asleep on Camila's bed. In fact, he shouldn't have been there in the first place. It would have been much easier to remove the suitcase from the sofa and stretch out there, then head back to his room when she was asleep. Subconsciously he knew what he was doing by staying and he had somehow made a decision to stay, sliding down under the blanket, letting her snuggle up to him. Then there had been the kissing. And the touching. And the talking.

"What are we doing, Camila?"

"Can we just.....lay here? Snuggle? Talk?"

He looked at her with a sceptical face. Really Camila? He could see however that she meant it, and if it meant staying in her bed, in her arms, then he would agree to anything. He slid back down and she cuddled in, under the blankets this time. He felt his heart slow a little. She leaned back so she could look at him.

"What did you think of me, when you first met me?"

"I thought you were crazy. And beautiful."

"You were so cute, and when you sang the girls just swooned. Me too."

He laughed. Sixteen year old Shawn did not quite appreciate the effect he had on young girls. He certainly never imagined it would extend to Camila.

"I would fantasise about you..."

"Oh really?" she raised a brow.

"Well, yeah like that, but mostly about maybe you being my girlfriend and lame stuff like that." He cringed now, realising he must have still sounded sixteen years old when he said it.

"That night...."

"You were incredible on stage that night."

"It was one of our best performances, definitely." She said.

"I don't know about the others, I was only watching you."

"What about Taylor?"

"Not even Taylor."

"You didn't seem so keen to talk to me, and then when I dragged you into that dark corner...."

"Firstly, I was keen, believe me, but I was so fucking nervous. I had such a crush on you, and didn't think you knew I existed to be honest. The last thing I ever expected was the girl of my dreams trying to kiss me!"

"Trying being the operative word here, I didn't do a very good job."

He laughed. "Oh you did a great job, I just totally choked!"

"I was so embarrassed!"

"YOU were embarrassed? I acted like I didn't even know how to kiss a girl! You ran away from me!"

"I didn't want you to reject me," she said, her face a cute shade of pink.

"Ha, I didn't want to reject you, dork, I wanted to kiss you some more!"

"Wow, I wonder what would have happened if we hadn't been so young and so stupid."

He pushed her hair behind her ear, stroking the small shell of it, admiring it's perfection.

"Does it matter? We're here now."

"But now we can't even kiss each other," she whined a little.

"Hasn't stopped us. We've done a lot of kissing for people who aren't supposed to kiss."

"Everyone told me when I started in this business, never fall for your co-star."
