"Well then..." I looked at my grandparents who's smiling from ear to ear. I think they just bought it.

"We want to meet him. We'll be expecting him tomorrow at dinner" I was drinking a glass of water when I heard lolo's voice. Shit, muntik pa kong mabinlaukan.

"Of course lolo. He would love to meet both of you" I tried my best to give them a smile, I don't want to raise any suspicion. I glanced at Matthew who was also looking at me. For a moment, I saw a glimpse of sadness in his eyes before he quickly avoided my gaze.

We started eating. Lola seems excited about my imaginary boyfriend. She kept asking questions about 'him'.Damn, what did I get myself into? Bakit bukas kagad?

How can I find a boyfriend in a day? Should I just rent an escort service? Fuck. 

Matthew's quietly eating beside me. Nakikipag usap naman siya kay lolo tungkol sa business and tartarus. Mukhang wala din siya sa mood pagkatapos nung usapan kanina. Wala din akong balak kibuin siya.

We finished our meal and it's already 9 PM. We still have classes tomorrow kaya nag pa alam na din ako kala lolo. I kissed both of them on their cheeks before heading out the house.

"Don't forget our dinner tomorrow!" Lola said while waving. Hindi pa rin mawala yung ngiti sa labi niya. Is it really a miracle for me to be in a romantic relationship?

I saw Matthew who was already inside his car. I scoffed when I saw him looking at me, bakit ba kasi ako pumayag na hindi dalhin yung kotse ko? Dapat pala tinawagan ko na si Liam kanina pa para sunduin ako.

"Seatbelt" he said as soon as I entered his car. He seems cold, ano ba problema nito? Ako nga tong galit sa kanya.

None of us spoke the entire ride. I just kept myself busy by looking at the buildings we passed through.

After a long deafening drive, we arrived in front of my house. I got out of the car without even uttering a word. As I walk towards the front door, I can still see Matthew waiting for me to enter my house. Mukha ba kong matatambangan sa harap ng bahay ko?

I heard his car driving away as soon as I entered the door. I immediately threw my heels in the shoe rack and went towards the kitchen.

This day is really exhausting. I still can't believe the suggestions of my grandparents earlier. I'm too young to be engaged!

"I'm so tired" I whispered as I opened the fridge. I reached for the tub of ice cream. Na stress ako sa araw na to, I need to think. Bukas na yung dinner and pag wala kong naipakilala kala lola, sure na kay Matthew ang bagsak ko.

I sighed as I walked towards the living room. I immediately frowned when I heard spongebob's annoying laugh. It's almost 10 PM at nandito pa din ang magaling kong pinsan.

Padabog akong umupo sa tabi niya na kinagulat naman niya. He was wearing his pajamas while eating popcorn. Pinanindigan niya na talaga yung pagiging tambay sa bahay ko.

I rolled my eyes at him and  started eating my ice cream as I fixed my eyes on the television. Hindi ba to nag sasawa? I didn't bother to change the channel since I'm already drowning in my own thoughts.

I didn't even notice na tulala na ko until Liam spoke "I heard that Matthew's grandfather got sick. He's respiratory system is collapsing. Hindi ko na alam yung ibang detalye but it seems serious"
