"Liam's waiting outside, let's go"

I looked at Matthew who looks bored. He's wearing his black leather jacket partnered with denim pants. Di na naman niya suot ang mask niya, typical Silvera.

He's staring at me like I'm wasting his time, what's his fucking problem? I just rolled my eyes at him and fixed myself.

I'm in Tartarus right now, scouting. I can't still find those guys with scythe tattoos, sobrang mailap nila! Fuck. Ilang araw na din ako pabalik balik dito,

I got a text from Liam earlier about him wanting to have a talk with me. I'm sure this is about the scene that I caused in our family dinner. I don't regret any of it, I want to show my grandfather that I'm not backing the fuck down.

I didn't know that Liam was with Matthew, I thought it'll be just the two of us. I finished my drink as I stood up and walked towards the exit with Matthew beside me.

"How are you? I've heard the news" he asked without any hint of emotions in his words.

Matthew's been distant ever since our last talk, ngayon ko na lang ulit siya nakausap. We're classmates on all of my major classes yet para lang ako hangin sa kanya.

Not that I'm complaining, di lang ako sanay na ang lamig niya. He's usually talkative.

"I'm fine" I answered as we walked closer to Liam who was leaning on his car.

"Thanks, bro!" He said as he tapped Matthew's shoulder, he looked at me and hugged me tight.

"Sorry, di kita naihatid! Ang bilis mong nawala!" Kumalas na siya sa pagka yakap at tinapik ang buhok ko, he's treating me like a child.

I took a step back and arched my eyebrow. I think he knows what's on my mind, we'll be talking about family business, bakit nandito si Matthew?

"Kasama siya sa usapan, what's with you two?" He chuckled.

I took my car keys and walked towards my car na katabi lang din nung sa kanya.

"Dito ka na! Balikan mo na lang yan, ako na din maghahatid sayo bukas." He insisted.

"Sayang gas! Yaman mo talaga!" Dagdag pa niya. Liam's being irritating, our money came from the same riches!

"Fine!" padabog akong pumasok sa kotse niya. Nagulat ako nang pumasok din sa loob si Matthew.

So, fieldtrip lang?

I rolled my eyes and didn't say a thing. I looked at Liam who's now in the driver's seat, ngayon ko na lang ulit siya nakita simula nung dinner.
