Azumane Asahi x Reader - Valentine's Day

You are Sawamura (Y/n).. You are a first year student in Karasuno High School and the younger sibling of Sawamura Daichi who is the team captain of Men's Volleyball Team in your school. You have a crush on his best friend Azumane Asahi and as much as you like to confess your feelings for him, your overprotective brother may not permit you to have a relationship with him.

You are in your classroom preparing to leave when your bestriend called out to you. "Hey (Y/n) tomorrow's Valentine's Day. Do you have a special someone to give chocolates to?" (bf/n) teased you as she knows your huge crush on Asahi. "Ahhh. Ehhh." You just smiled unable to find the correct words. "Ne are you gonna confess or are you gonna let your brother control your life?" She knows that you can't confess because he is your brother's best friend but the words she said encourage you that you will have to speak your feelings sooner or late or maybe never. "You're right (bf/n). I've gotta tell him tomorrow. OMG that means I need to make chocolate and I don't have the ingredients yet. What do I do?" You began to panic when a hand nestled on your shoulder. "Don't worry (Y/n)-chan I'll help you." She gave you a thumbs up. "Thanks (bf/n)." You said as tears of happiness ran down to your cheeks. "You're such a crybaby you know that ?" She smiled.
Before going to the store to buy your ingredients you went first to the gym to tell your brother your whereabouts. As you arrive at the entrance, right on time Asahi was right there picking up the ball. Blush crept up to your face and was about to turn back when he noticed you. "Oh hey (Y/n)." He beamed. You were blushing from how cute he was, but this was no time to fan girl over him. So you tried to collect yourself and said. "Can you tell Daichi-nii that Iwon'tbewalkingwithhimhometodayandIwillcomehomelate. Ok thanks bye." You said as quickly as you can before you embarrass yourself and ran to your best friend. 'Omg maybe he thinks I'm weird. OMG!!!' You thought to yourself.

---Asahi's POV---

I just saw (Y/n) out of the corner of my eyes and decided to greet her. "Oh hey (Y/n)" She blushes at my greetings. 'Oh how cute she looks like with that blush on her face.' I was having my thoughts to myself when she quickly said something. I was caught up with my thoughts when she said something incredibly fast and ran. 'Hmmm why'd she ran though, I wanna talk to her more. Well I need to relay her message to Daichi.' I picked a few balls and ran to my bestfriend.

Chocolate in hand you went to the 3rd year floor where the room of your crush lies. You were almost to his room when coicidentally he went out of his room. "As--" You were about to scream his name when someone beat you to it. "Asahi!" It was Sugawara who called. You didn't want to get caught so you retreated yourself. 'Lunch time then.' You said to yourself as you went back to your room.

---Lunch Time---

As you walked along the hallway you spotted Asahi. As you ran towards him chocolates in hand when suddenly Sugawara and your brother came out from their rooms and walked towards your crush. 'Crap' you thought, It was too late to turn back know as you were already recognized by the three, quickly you hid the chocolates behind your back and casually approached them. "(Y/n) what you doing here?" Your brother questioned as to why a first year was here. "Ahh well," You began to panic thinking what to reason when you spot Kiyoko-senpai by the corner of your eyes. "Ahhh I wanted to speak to Kiyoko-senpai. Yes talk. hehehee." you tried to be unconspicuous and ran towards Kiyoko. You sigh, as the day wnt on you were unable to confess.

Classes already ended and you were unable to tell your feelings for him, but this didn't stop you from your mission. With a new resolve to yourself, you will confess to him at his practice no matter what the consequences are. With that you began to pack your stuf and headed to the gym.
You arrive to the gym but you were now having second thought due to the negativeness surrounding you. But this was no time to fret because maybe this will be the only chance that you are gonna be able to tell him. With that said you entered the gym. You saw them practicing their served and thank God Asahi was near the door that you were able to grab his attention. "Ummm Asahi-senpai. Can I talk to you. It would only take a few moments." Karasuno's ace looked at you and replied. "Ok why not." With that said you went outside with him following you. You guys were outside far from people who are in earshot. unbestknown to you there was someone irritated at what happened.

---Inside the gym---

Daichi saw his sister entered the gym. He was waiting for you to call him but it never came, instead he saw you walking out with his bestfriend. This turned on his overprotective brother and was about to run to you with fumes coming out of his ear when Sugawara stopped him. "Let me go Suga!!! It's my sister were talking about!!" This caught everyone's attention and they looked at their captian. "Calm down Daichi. How about let's see what happens." Suga replied as he dragged their captain to one of the windows with everyone following in suit, curious what made their captain angry.

"Ummm Asahi-senpai." You started as you hand him the chocolates. "Please have this." He blushingly accepted your chocolates. You take a breath. It was now or never. "Umm I liked you for a long time. I know a lot of people say this to you.. umm." You trailed off but composed yourself back. "I like you and I know you won't like me back but I just want to-" You were caught off when a soft pair of lips met yours. It was sweet as you thought it would be, heck it may be even better. "I really lie you too (Y/n)" He said in a rough voice. Tears swell up in your eyes. You were happy, really happy that he feel the same way. You quickly kiss him back. This caught him by surprise but ease to your touch.

"Go get her Asahi!!!" You guys were interrupted when Nishinoya shouted. "Nice going ace!!!" Tanaka added. You begin to blush and hid yourself into your lover's chest. This was embarrassing, who would've have thought people were watching you two. Then an angry voice was heard amidst the happiness. "That's my little sister Asahi!!! You're gonna serve 100 times once you get back here!" Well there was your angry brother. You chuckled as Asahi paled at the number of times he has to serve. "Well you better go back before he kills you." You said to your boyfriend. "Wanna walk home together?" He asked you. "Why not? I'll wait for you." You both entered the gym holding hands.

Once inside Daichi confronted Asahi. "If you ever hurt her I'll kill you." Asahi gulped as he was petrified of your brother. "I w-won't." He stuttered. Then you heard choruses of congrats by the team. "Congrats (Y/n), Asahi. So when's the wedding?" Suga teased the both of you, well more likely to annoy your brother. Typical Suga. "There's gonna be no weeding. I'll never allow it!" Daichi shouted. "100 round of jogging for you Asahi." He ordered. You just laughed how eventful this afternoon was.
