Nishinoya Yuu x Reader - Savior

You were waiting patiently for your boyfriend at his school. Your boyfriend is the one and only Nishinoya Yuu. Though you are taller than him but height doesn't matter when it comes to love. You went to a different school from him, but that didn't stop you guys from spending time with each other.

Here you are waiting for him to finish his training. Since today is Friday and there is no school tomorrow you guys decided to hang out even though it's a little late. You are leaning on the wall looking at the sunset. You were a tad early for your meeting time but you were just excited to meet him after a week.

You were on your thoughts when you were interrupted by two boys. "What's a pretty lady doing here at this time?" One of the guy said as he neared you. "Yeah? You wanna come with us?" The other guy went to your other side entrapping you between them. You were nervous at this point but you still kept your cool. "I'm waiting for someone." You timidly reply. One decided to go near to your face. "It seems that someone of yours stood up on you."
You leaned back because you can almost feel his breath on yours. "Umm." You closed your eyes. 'Yuu!!!' You keep screaming in your head hoping that he will save you.

---Yuu's Point of View---

Training was done, as I looked at the clock it seems that training continued later than he thought. 'Crap. (Y/n)'s waiting can't let her think I stood her up." I sped up to the club room to dress up. "Yo No-" I disregard Tanaka as my meeting time with my girlfriend is past already.

I ran through the gates looking for (Y/n). I spotted her near the gate and it seems she attracted trouble while I was gone. I can see the look on her face like she were screaming for me for help. The guys seems taller than I am, but what kind of man am I if I can't protect my own girl. As (Y/n) opened her eyes, she seemed to notice me. "Yuu!"

You reluctantly opened your eyes, you can see in your peripheral view you boyfriend. "Yuu!" You screamed and quickly ran behind his back cowering in fear. "So this little shrimpy is your boyfriend?" One of them say. "What a piece of shit." The other one scoffed.

One of the thug walked towards Nishinoya and put his hand on Nishinoya's head. "Why don't you leave him for us. We can show you more of what he did." He teased. Nishinoya having enough he punched the guy holding him. "Shut up!!" The man groaned and retaliated. Nishinoya stumbled on his butt as the man was much stronger and taller than him.

He was about to land another attack on him when you ran in front of Nishinoya to protect him. The man was able stop before he could hit you. "Psshh. Get her out of my way." He ordered his ally, but you were tough not budge. "Be that way." He swung his fist towards you and you closed your eyes afraid of the pain. Seconds went by but you didn't feel any pain. You opened your eyes and saw a person stopping  holding your attacker's hand.

"What the hell are you doing." It was Tanaka who stopped him. You can see that his teammates are behind him. Daichi stepped forward intimidating the two thugs. "Don't you come close to us or else." He glared at them with his evil aura hanging behind him. The thugs know that they can't win this round and fled the scene.

"Yuu!" You remembered that your lover was lying on his but hurt. You looked at his face and it seems that he gained a bruise on where the guy punched him. You quickly took you handkerchief and put it on his cheeks. "Thanks." He smiled.

"Geez Noya just after practice you caused trouble again. Good thing I'm here to save the day!" Tanaka said proud of himself. "And I am indebt to ou Ryuu!" The two began to hug each other crying. "You're like a brother to me." Tanaka said. "Me too!" Nishinoya returned.

You giggled at the sight at least he seemed fine. "Oh yeah Daichi's treating! Let's go. You're girlfriend could come." Nishinoya looked at Daichi which puts his thumbs up saying it was ok. "You're the best guys!" With that off you go to the Sakanoshita's store.

You and Nishinoya walked behind the group. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you (Y/n)." He blurted out of nowhere. You sigh at him. "It's fine." You responded. "But I-" you cut him off.  "It's fine because you were there for me. I couldn't for more than that." You smiled at him. He shrugged your response still feeling depressed about the incident.

You stopped walking. Nishinoya noticed and stop to look at you. "Yuu!  Don't degrade yourself like that. I couldn't ask for anyone better than you." You kissed him. You poured all your emotions in that kiss. He was shocked at first but decided to return your kiss. "Let's have a date tomorrow." He suggested. "I like that." You smiled.

"If you two lovebirds are done smooching come and get your buns!" Tanaka shouted. Everyone stared at the two of you. Flustered you two went together to the group. "Nishinoya-senpai tell how to get a beautiful girlfriend." Hinata bowed asking for advice. "Oi oi your Tanaka-senpai is here." Tanaka intervened. "But he has a girlfriend and you don't" Hinata replied innocently. This hurts Tanaka, literally. "You're no longer my kouhai."

"Ehh wait." Hinata followed the buzz cut wing spiker. Nishinoya entertained his hands with yours. You squeeze his hand tight to show your love for him which he returned. 'This night might not be unfortunate at all.'
