Bokuto Koutaro x Reader - Matcy Matchy

Nationals is just around the corner and you were excited that date. Though you weren't going to play but it's the chance that you were able to support your long relationship. You went to Karasuno High and your boyfriend, Bokuto, went to Fukurodani. You guys met at the training camp. You aren't a manager but you are working hard to expose Karasuno Men's volleyball through an article.

Your dream is to be a journalist in a popular magazine and this is your opportunity to polish your skills and also help your friends in a way that you can.

"Yamaguchi!" You yelled as you approached your best friend. Believe it or not you are best friend with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. You arrived at the school earlier than the expected time. "Oh hi (Y/n)!" He greeted back. "Aren't you excited." You gleamed as Tsukishima arrived. "I'm rather nervous than excited."

"Hi Tsukki!" You turned your attention to the 190cm guy. "It's early and you're already noisy." He teased. "Come on, aren't you excited. You guys are playing in the nationals."

"You're just excited to see your boyfriend." You blushed at his comment. "Shut up."

"Ehh boyfriend?!" You looked to see the rest of the team there with their mouth open. Truth to be told, you never spoke about him cause you were embarrassed to speak about it and only your two best friends know it. Also Kei is a little bit buddy buddy with him.

"Ehhh. Yeah..." you stuttered. "Who is it? From which school? Do we know him?" Hinata fires away his questions, his curiosity got the best of him. "Heheheh you'll find out soon." You teases them. "Come on (Y/n), you're so cruel." Hinata pouted. "Just get in the bus you dumbass." Kageyama hit the middle blocker.
"Come on Kageyama aren't you interested?"

Kageyama was blushing and ushered him inside. "Who could have taken (Y/n)'s heart?!" Nishinoya and Tanaka was crying over you. "Now, now. You guys are overreacting. Now get in the bus." Daichi pulled the two in the bus. You three followed in suit as everyone was onboard.

—— 1st Day of Nationals —-

It was Karasuno's first game and you were doing your job. Bokuto's game is after their game if the schedule follows but their were on a different gym and you have to run. Hope you arrive on time.

You were taking pictures and thank God that they gave you pass for Media so you were be able to access the court.

The game starts and you were reviewing you photos. Good thing some appear great but you need more pictures with that you continued your job.

The game ends determining Karasuno High wins against Johzenji. You guys arrived on the benches to rest and you were thinking of going to the other court. "I'm going to buy their shirts! Nishinoya you wanna come?" Hinata's voice beamed. "Oh hell yes. I'm going to buy their Libero shirt." Truth to be told you also wanna buy their shirts and you were having a fight with yourself whether to go with them or go directly to the other gym. Your temptation took over as you went with Hinata.

There you were. The three of you standing in front of the shirt stand. You grabbed the way of the ace shirt as Bokuto has one and you want to match with him. Unexpectedly Hinata also went with the same shirt. "Oh do you like this shirt too?" He asked you. "Yup! Since my boyfriend likes it too." You replied. "I also got a friend who has this shirt." He chatted.

You also picked another shirt since this was once in a lifetime chance to buy some. You bought a red shirt that says Volleyball Spirit. You bought two, one for you and one for him. "Ehhh you're buying two of those?" Nishinoya asked. "Yessir. I just want to give him something since it's been a long time."

"I'm so jealous (Y/n)." Nishinoya has tears on his eyes. "You guys want to come with me? I'm going to watch Fukurodani's match?" Hinata invites which you guys agreed.

You guys arrived at the court and Fukurodani was left behind by five points. You could hear the fans bad mouthing him and you were worried. You know that he is easily influenced by the audience and you prayed hard for them to win.

—- Third Person ——

Bokuto was not on his game as he was frustrated that he can't play on the big stadium. Akaashi and the other's were trying to hype him up but nothing works. Then out of the corner of Akaashi's eyes, he saw you and his junior. Grabbing this opportunity he pep talked his friend.

"Come on Bokuto, though this is not the main gym but because of that people are concentrated on you to play as there are less court. As you can see many people are watching in our court." Akaashi tried but Bokuto is still in a daze. "And your girlfriend and protégée is watching over there." He pointed to Hinata who was waving his ace shirt and (Y/n) who was cheering.

Akaashi daw Bokuto's face lit up and it seemed that his tactic worked. And because of that they won their game.

—-Back to You—-

You were happy that they won and you guys went to congratulate him. "You are so cool Bokuto-San." Hinata was the first one to speak. "Congratulations on your win." You smiled at him as he stared at you. Hinata notice his stare and quickly introduced you guys. "This is (Y/n) and she's like our publisher."

After the congratulating then Hinata and Nishinoya went ahead of you. You stayed as you wanted and alone time with your boyfriend.

"Bokuto." You hugged him from behind. He was still sweaty since he was still wearing his jersey.  He went to face you and hugged you back. "I'm still sweaty but I that doesn't mean I don't like your hugs. Though a kiss would be better." Even though he ruined the moment but you still love him. Reluctantly you pulled away missing his warmth.

You pulled out the shirt you bought and pushed on to his chest. Bokuto was surprised. He took the shirt from you and looked at it. "Is this for me." You nodded flustered. "You know you can be cute sometimes." He complimented.

You pulled out your own shirt. "So that we can be matchy matchy." You smiled at the thought. "Why not wear it now?" He suggested. "But it will ruin my outfit." You pouted. "Come on." He pulled you and pulled your shirt up. "I can do it by myself." You tried to cover yourself up. He successfully took of your shirt and he wasn't able to stop himself from staring at your boobs . Flustered you quickly put on the red shirt.

He moved his face closer to you. "What a waste. It's been a long time since I felt you." He put his hand under your shirt. This was not the time as his teammates may anytime come to the dressing room where their things were put. You forcefully pushed him. "Just get dress." You avert your gaze away from him. His mood gone and he dressed up.

You guys were walking hand in hand in hand in the main gym. "Where are we headed?" You asked. "To your team of course." He casually spoke. "But..." there was no reason to deny your relationship but you were still shy to spread it out. "Come on (Y/n) I want everyone to know your mine." He had those puppy eyes and you weren't able to deny him.

You guys enters the gym and headed for the benches. You pulled him hoping that you can guys sit down without any attention but his mouth had other plans. "Yo!" He casually greeted everyone. Everyone looked to the source of the voice and saw you two.

That can see that you guys are wearing the same shirt and holding hands. "Ehhh Bokuto-san? (Y/n)?" Hinata was first to talk out of the shocked team, except of course with your two best friend.

"Don't tell me you guys are..." Tanaka pointed at the two of you. You nodded already know what he means. Daichi effortlessly patted Bokuto on his shoulder. "Congrats." Was all he said. Hinata was like over you two asking questions which you replied.

"Yo Tsukishima." Bokuto patted the blonde boy. "Stop putting your hands on me." The first words come from his mouth. "Hahaha. Bitter as always."

"Come on Bokuto. Let's sit down." You grabbed his arm and dragged him on the seats. You couldn't stop feeling eyes on you guys but you didn't care as long as you are with him. 

"Wanna come to my place tonight?" He invited. You couldn't deny that you were excited that you were able to spend the night with him.
