Chapter5

I stared at Liam's shocked expression, expecting a fight.. But instead he frowned.

"What? Why?"

"I thought of visiting my grandma for a while. I miss her and yea.."
I shrugged, missing the part that I might stay there for college.

"Ok..." Wow that was easy .

"I'm coming with you."

Ugh. And here we go.

"Why? You got work and it's my grandma. "I said crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"Work can wait. Why do you look like you don't want me to come?"

"No not this but-"

"But..?"

"Nothing. "I said with a shrug.
He nodded coming closer and hugging my waist. He smiled.
"So ? A trip to London? " He leaned in to kiss my neck softly. "It won't hurt."
•*•*•*•*•*•*•*•*•

48 hours and we landed at London's airport.

"Wow. Thought it would be longer than that. "Liam rolled his eyes and huffed standing as soon as the plane's wheels touch the pavement.

I breathed out holding the bridge of my noise. Liam was definitely not a person who sits for two days in a plane . He would go around walking and mess with other people sitting around. He didn't even sit. Especially not in his seat.

He had a 15 minutes argument with the air hostess to sit in his seat and put his seat belt on . She ended up leaving him to do whatever he wants, rolling her eyes at his childish behavior.

Rolling my suit case and getting out is when the fresh cold air hit me. I breathed in and smiled at the rain . Ignoring Liam's comments about the rainy weather, I stopped a cab.

"St. Louise 12 please. "I got in after the old driver smiled at me.

"How you doing? "His british accent sounded a bit funny to me.

"We're fine thanks. "I smiled politely and nudged Liam by my elbow after he looked at the driver disgustingly.

"Well where did you come from? London is a very beautiful place for a honey moon. "He smiled, eyeing us from the front mirror.

Liam frowned.
"Uh. No we're just friends. "I said interrupting Liam with a glare.

"Oh. Pardon me. I didn't know."

"It's fine. "Liam said for the first time, giving me a frown and looking out at the rain drops running down the window.

After paying for the driver, I opened the door and ran to the closest shelter. It was a coffee shop .

A few blocks and I reached my grandmother's house.

'Wood-head road building 4039'  I checked again the address grandma gave me .

Before I could even knock , Liam stopped me by grabbing my forearm,"Just friends huh?"

"Liam, it's really not the right time to start an argument." he looked at me blankly then dropped my hand.

I rang the doorbell and after a moment I heard my grandma's voice calling out 'coming'.

As soon as she opened the door she squealed and rushed grabbing me in a tight hug , emptying the air out of me, "oh my lord! I missed you so much honey!" my grandma said in her glory. If anyone see us together he'd say she's my mother or maybe my elder sister. Her hair still blond the way I left her , with her curves and her eyes like my father's that has sparks in them whenever she's close to tears . Her smile so warm I missed it so  much .

"I missed you too."

And then I knew that it's been a long time since I've felt this safe. It feels like home in her arms. When she pulled over she took my face in her hands ."oh dear how have you been?"

"I've been okay ."I smiled weekly while drying my tears. She then looked at Liam and smiled at him warmly ,"hey , have you been treating my girl right?"she placed both hands on either sides of her waiste.

He suckled, "Sure ma'am." He said placing an arm around my waiste . Ofcourse.

"Oh it's raining out there , come on in please!" Grandma Rose said .

I followed her in leaving Liam to get in our suit cases.
