Immediately, the director stormed out of his office and onto the floor. The agents that were there all looked up, set off by the energy Taeyong was radiating.

When he walked up to Kun and Sicheng, who were helping the three probies with the software on the computers, they were already prepared to take on what he asked of them. When Taeyong got like this, there was not much room to do anything but.

"Go check on Sunhee. Mark and Donghyuck's home; Get there now. Take the probationers, the adrenaline will keep them sharp if there are still unfriendlies."

They nodded and Kun grabbed some suburban keys on his way out, while the new recruits nervously followed the older agents, confused.

"What's wrong?" One of them asked as they all piled into the elevator. His big eyes were wide under furrowed brows.

Sicheng was the one to inform in a very comforting way as he clicked the button and watched the door close. "Something must be going on with the client."

"The boss mentioned unfriendlies." Another piped up almost immediately, with a face of seriousness covering his nervousness.

"We might run into some, if that's what you're worried about, Xiaojun." Kun's arms were folded as he fiddled with the keys in one hand.

The one who was quiet up until now stepped to look at Sicheng with anxiety written all over his face. "Why are we coming? Why not the older agents?"

"Calm down, YangYang." Sicheng put a hand on the younger's shoulder. "Taeyong believes you can handle it, that's why he wanted you to come with us. And even then, we don't know if it will come to that."

The elevator slowed and opened its doors. Kun and Sicheng lead the way to a company suburban in the parking garage. The three behind them quieted back down, but none of them really felt comforted.

When pulling into the parking lot, Kun braced the rest in the car. "Be ready for open fire. You three have gone through training, remember. You wouldn't be a part of the unit if you weren't ready for things like this."

The probies collectively took a breath. Kun's little slice of wisdom gave them the confidence they needed to grapple their nerves.

The five were silent and slow as they made it to the door to the apartment. Sicheng knocked and called in. "Mark? Donghyuck?" There was no reply, and no one came to answer the door. "Miss Sunhee?" Silence.

Sicheng pressed his ear up to the door, listening for any movement inside. When it was completely and utterly quiet, he looked at Kun and shook his head. Kun tried the knob, but he wasn't surprised to see that it was locked. At least that proved that Mark and Donghyuck weren't fools. He sighed and bounced on the balls of his feet while shaking out his arms. Sicheng stood back, and the rookies did the same.

Kun rammed against the door with a heavy grunt. It remained shut. With a deep breath and another shake of preparation, he focused his energy and slammed his shoulder into the door again. The handle gave way, swinging the door wide open to reveal the mess inside.

"Well, if they were here they would've started shooting. Still, stay on your guard." Kun commanded with a low voice and lightly tread in. The others followed him to the living room that certainly looked like a crime scene. A harsh curse left his mouth thoughtlessly. Sicheng would have been taken aback by his partner's unusual behavior, but the scene that they were looking at made him forget about it altogether.

Shards of glass were scattered all over the floor, and drapes drifted in the warm night's breeze. On the wall right by the bathroom, droplets of dried blood were sprayed low to the ground. A little pool of red liquid right by the wall stain had a streak of blood running across the floor in the direction of the gaping window for about two feet. Large streaks turned into a little trail of red drops. Someone was shot and dragged, before being picked up. At least, that's what Kun tried to deduce. Every security camera had been taken out with precision, so he wasn't sure the truth of the scene would ever be found out.
