"Man, they're giving all of the good cases to Unit EXO," A new face complained to Jaemin.

Sunhee scoffed inwardly. After she was able to calm down, Jungwoo escorted her back to the office, letting her try and take a nap in his cubicle while he and Lucas talked elsewhere.

Unfortunately, she couldn't sleep. Not entirely anyway. She rested her head on the desk with her eyes closed, but she listened to the conversations happening around her.

"I know. Oddly enough, we haven't been assigned any cases lately. Other than Ten and Johnny finishing that man hunt the other day, none of us are doing anything besides Jungwoo and Lucas." Jaemin sat on top of his desk that shared a divider with Jungwoo's, while his chair was occupied by his friend. "I mean, they can't make us just sit here all day, right?"

The other boy sighed. "Well we shouldn't just be sitting here. If we're not actively working on a case, we should be helping with paperwork. That's what Mark encouraged us to do anyway."

"Hey, do I need to give you two something to do?" a deep voice interrupted their conversation.

"Yes, please," Jaemin pleaded.

"Alright, well I suggest you read up on recent reports your superiors submitted, and take some notes on ideas or methods they used." the two boys groaned in response, but agreed nonetheless. Jaemin reclaimed his chair and unlocked his computer, muttering to himself with a sigh.

Sunhee laughed lightly at how he talked to himself. Deciding to look up, her eyes were met with the dark amber eyes of the man sitting across from her.

A grin grew on his face. "Hi! We saw each other earlier, but I never introduced myself. I'm Na Jaemin."

"Hello, I'm--"

"Jung Sunhee, I know. So does everyone else here in the unit. You're quite popular, you know?"

She sat up, now fully attentive. Instead of indulging him in the conversation he was trying to start, she went a different route. "I get the feeling that you're not as cool as you're letting on," her head tilted and she folded her arms playfully on the desk, earning a laugh from him.

"You caught me." he held up his hands in defeat before grinning and returning his gaze to the computer monitor. "You'll fit in here just fine,"

Pondering on what that meant, Sunhee laid her head back down. She played with some of the pens that sat in a cup on Jungwoo's desk as she became bored. An idea suddenly popped into her head, and she looked around for a printer. When she finally found some scratch paper, she snatched a pencil that was lying around and began to draw while she waited. Sunhee wasn't just good at art, but she loved it and could never be bored of it.

The day passed, and the office remained in its state of a busy buzz. Sunhee eventually fell asleep hunched over her page of doodles and thumbnail sketches, and was working on her third hour of nap-time when a loud presence entered the scene.

"The longer we wait, the more harm it could do. We need information, and we need it as soon as possible." She heard Lucas' voice ring.

"Well we can't find him anywhere, so what can we do except wait for him to show up?" Jungwoo's voice was barely audible from where Sunhee was. It sounded like he was trying to keep the conversation just between them, and not the entire floor.

There was a long pause before Lucas spoke again, keeping his tone quieter as well.

Sunhee sat up in her chair and stretched out the pops in her back. Jaemin was sitting in the same spot, only he was scrolling through his phone while talking to the boy from before. They both looked up at her, then shared a look before Jaemin chuckled and mentioned the red mark on her cheek she got from laying her head for so long. The boy behind him laughed as well, making eye contact with Sunhee.
