Washington, DC

President Roberts Pov

President Roberts looked out the window into the Roosevelt Garden; she had put her plan together after she had helped Ruyan to terminate the Raptor. Yes, She knew the about the percussions if it failed. But that didn't bother her one bit. She had learned to not trust the Russians after they tried to assassinate her in Berlin.

Luckily she had gotten some vital intel from Ryan's laptop and that had set her plan into motion. The question on her mind right now was she could trust Ruyan, after all she could easily manipulate people to get what she wanted.

She needed to know what this Resistance was up to and what they were planning, and that's where Ruyan came in. She just hoped that they didn't find out who she really was? It all depended on Rose to do what she did best?

Yes this historic treaty that they were about to enter into was going to be the moment when she showed President Putin that she had enough of Russia messing around with their affairs; he wouldn't see it coming. No else knew she that She funded her program

After all, if it ever came out that she had secretly funded the White Nights her career was all over. What was worse was that President Putin had probably known about the Gold in which she use to fund Ruyan. One thing for sure she didn't trust Putin deputy Director of the SVR one bit; she had read his file knowing that he was an ex KGB agent like Putin.

President Roberts ventured around the Resolute desk, strolling over to her National security advisor who was sitting on one of the sofas. She chose her words carefully before she spoke.

"I want to know how President Putin knew about the Gold from Iraq understand, there is  way no he could have found out about it," President Roberts exclaimed.

"Madame President, Maybe he had a sleeper agent inside the Shadows for all we know, and Martin could have kept all the intel on his operators probably even maybe on encrypted disc for we know," The national security advisor remarked.

"Then we need to find that encrypted disc of his. I want to know you if there was a sleeper and who it was ?" President Roberts questioned.

"Madame President if Martin did have the disc he would probably put someplace where we couldn't find it," The national security told her.

"Will then, I suggest that you have your people check his house or his office; I will not be blackmailed by the Russian President," President Roberts snapped.

"Okay, but even if we find the disc you still have the treaty to worry about Madame President," The national security advisor stated.

President Roberts walked back over to the Resolute desk, sat in the chair behind it. She wondered if Martin had known; about the so-called Resistance or even help create  it from the Shadows. She needed to find more about the shadows; she had a strange feeling that Martin had done business with Triple-A7 maybe he was in Iraq or in Venezuela.

There had to be a connection there, but what was it that was the question? Of course, she thought Director Hamilton would know about any of the operators in the Shadows and if they did business with Triple-A7. She picked up the phone, and entered the ten digital number for Director Hamilton at the CIA.

Director Hamilton grabbed the phone from her desk before she spoke.

"Director Hamilton," she stated.

"Madame Director I need some intel on the Shadows operators, and if any of them did business with Triple-A7 when they wereIn either Iraq or Venezuela?" President Roberts asked.

"Madame President, those files have been redacted for a long time you should be able to access those files," Director Hamilton remarked.

"I need to know if Martin did business with Triple-A7 when he was in Iraq or Venezuela," President Robert asked.

There was a pause and some silence before Director Hamilton spoke again.

"In our kind of business there is always some shadowy people we deal with, as far Martin he never told me where he got intel from.

Are you saying yes or no he did business with Triple A-7," President Roberts snapped.

"I'm saying read between the lines Madame President," Director Hamilton

President hung up the receiver of the phone back on the Resolute desk, and quickly typed in password to access the redacted files on her computer. Three minutes later the screen flashed on showing
