Your pov

Over the past few days, Ciana began to visit me more, inquiring about certain subjects she had trouble with. Rumors started to circulate about us, although I didn't pay much mind to them. Rumors were fleeting and as the competition grew nearer, there were speculations that Ciana already got VIP access into moving into the F-rank dormitory. To think that there would be a competition is just, ah... Honestly, I would've thought that this competition would happen for those who wanted to get into the S-rank dormitory, although, I don't think there is one.

"What's wrong?" Damon asked we were currently sitting in the living room, that Damon had personally designed. While Arian and Hanami went to play in the water fountains in the foyer. I'm glad that they're good friends, I'm sure Arian sees Hanami as his own little brothers that he has to take care of.

"I was just thinking, no matter what I did, I would still attract attention. It's your damn ability, Damon." I muttered. "Like, I had chosen F-rank, deliberately, because I wanted some peace and quiet. But then now, I'm being treated as if I was an S rank." I sighed. Damon snickered and teased me that I just couldn't act normal.

"But if you had known this, would you have gone and shown the extent of your powers at the familiar summoning?" Damon asked, placing down a red bound book onto the coffee table.

"No. Even if this competition and attention is a bit of a hassle, I'm glad that I summoned Hanami. I'll always be able to remember my mother's last gift to me, and the box that my father placed it in. Heh, I know it sounds weird to treasure something you could find from street sellers." I laughed.

"It isn't, remember, without my ability, I wouldn't have the fake attention I have now. Although it annoys me constantly that my ability has no effect on you, I'm glad that the attention I received from you is genuine." Damon said.

"I suppose, ah, I just, I'm going just ignore this matter. Say, have you've met Professor Slain?" I asked. I remembered Ciana bringing something up about her father wanting to meet me, but I've never had a chance to meet him.

"Professor Slain? No, I haven't. Although from what I've heard from the Princess's followers, Ciana would report to her father every evening, just before dinner. I'm sure if any, those reports are mainly about what she did that day. But because she's been approaching you more, I have a feeling that Professor Slain wants to judge your character first, through his daughter's judgment. But anyway, why have you've been making Ciana a boxed lunch?" Damon huffed, seeming annoyed by the things I've been doing lately.

"I noticed from our last meal with her and Tristian, she has trouble consuming oily things. Since oils are still a sort of vital thing our body needs to stabilize itself, and that you also need it in some alchemy formulas. I started to give her boxed lunches so that her body will grow more adapt to oils. It isn't something I plan to do forever, plus, It's typically just extras of whatever we have for lunch, but vegetarian style." I said, messing with Damon's hair. I smiled at how Damon would sometimes get jealous from me mentioning other students.

"Fine, I guess you can continue to give her boxed lunches. But, you must brew coffee for me daily, and deliver to me personally!" he stated.

"Are you that desperate to have people recognize our relationship?" I teased Damon, whose face flushed, from the thoughts that entered his mind.

"N-no, I-" Lifting up his chin, I leaned in closer, watching his face become redder. I wanted to make him yearn for it but never receive it. Drawing away, he opened his eyes, punching my arm, huffing from embarrassment.

"I mean, if you really want me to, I don't mind," I said, but he threw a pillow at me, ignoring me. Hmm, I guess it was cruel of me, alright, I'll give it to him, just this once. "Damon, I'm sorry~," I said, though he continued to ignore me. Moving closer, I hugged him from behind, seeing him grow redder. Heh. "I promise I'll deliver coffee to you every day, and even add in some cookies," I said, which he nodded but continued to ignore me. Hmm.

"I-I'll only forgive you, if you do latte art." He said, turning towards me, I smiled nodding. Before he could react, I kissed him on the lips, it was only for a split second, but it made his face looked like a tomato. Hehe.

"Alright, I'll go make you a coffee," I smirked, walking away to avoid his wrath.

3rd pov

In the foyer, Arian and Hanami were splashing around in the water fountains, enjoying themselves. While Arian laid in the shallow waters, enjoying the cooling sensation. Hanami played around with the fountain sprays. Matcha sat on top of one of these sprays, getting blasted into the air, and bouncing around the different sprays before rolling off of Arian. Yuki rolled around, enjoying the blasts of water, and even sometimes joining Matcha's bouncing game. Ichigo, however, wasn't really a fan of water, at least when (y/n) wasn't around. So Ichigo sat nearby Arian, leaning against him, trying to get used to the splashing of the water. While he couldn't understand the excitement his brothers were getting from being blasted up into the air, and bouncing around on different sprays. Sometimes, when they fell, they would splash water onto Ichigo, who jumped in fright.

Arian would then lift his head a bit, snuggling into Ichigo, who calmed down around Arian, and the two would fall asleep again.
