Andrew:
Everything was back to normal, well almost. Christa's family finally decided to revoke their previous decision. Christa decided to stay home until she's calmed down. So, we go to her house every dismissal just to check if she's doing fine.
Christa's coming back to school tomorrow. Jace said she was just so stressed that she almost turned insane. At least she's recovered.
"By the way class, tomorrow, we're having a new classmate." Sir Oaken pushed his glasses up.
Audrey, my seatmate, raised her hand.
"What is it, Ms. Perez?"
She stood up. "But isn't it the middle of the semester?"
"We are a school that accepts transfer students even at the last day of the sem." Oaken pointed out.
Feeling defeat, Audrey sat down and pouted.
"You don't like transferees, do you?" I whispered. She nodded.
---------
"I wonder who's the transferee..." Patrick bit his red velvet cupcake.
"A transferee?" Maja asked. Her eyes wondered to me, then to Patrick.
"They didn't tell you?"
"No, and ew. Your food's getting everywhere." Maja's face was disgusted. I laughed softly.
"Hey. Heard 'bout the transferee?" Gab sat down and started wolfing down his cake.
"Am I the only one who hasn't?"
"Nu-uh." Patrick said.
"Oh yeah. Call her then." Maja sliced her apple pie. "Then Speaker mode please."
Gab took his phone and dialed Christa's.
"Hello?" He said while chewing.
"Hey guys! What's up?"
"Well, tomorrow-"
There was a thud from Christa's end.
"Are you okay? That sounded like it hurt." Patrick said, still getting his food all over the place. Maja stuck her tongue out, disgusted.
"I'm fine." Her voice cracked, but then she laughed. We all smiled.
"As I was saying, tomorrow there's going to be a transferee at your class. So-"
"Really!? Yahoo!!" Christa's excitement cut Gabie off.
"Well, at least our energetic Voice is back." Gab laughed.
We all grinned. Well, it's true.
"Then 2 days after that is the school fest. So Christa, we have practice. Ms. Keller has given us permission to practice for those two days." Gab explained, continuing on his cake.
"Sounds like cramming." Christa countered.
The class bell rang and we started fixing.
"Gotta bounce, C. See ya." Patrick said to Christa.
"Bye Christa!" We said in unison.
"Bye! See you guys later!"
