Andrew:
Christa's issue with Madeline isn't resolved just yet. She's still insisting that her lil' sis go to England.
"Drew!" I came back to my senses. The gang was staring at me.
"What?"
"Well, you've been spacing out lately. Is something the matter?" Maja said, sipping her frappe. Yes, we were at Starbucks.
"Uhh..." I took a sip from my Lattè.
"Oh well. So, how's it going with Madd?" Maja asked Christa.
"Um... Jace's still trying to revoke Maddie's plan. But she's just... too persistent." She looked down the table. We knew she didn't want to press too much on that subject, so we dropped the conversation.
The silence was awkward. Then suddenly I feel so sleepy.
"Andrew? Are you okay?" Patrick patted my back.
I tried to reply, but I fell asleep.
------
Behind those velvet curtains was a suit, lots of wires connected to it. The curtain rustled. I turned around, seeing Neal and Kepler enter.
"Wear the suit, mundle." Kepler said as he walked towards the main control panel.
I examined the thingy before wearing it. To my surprise, it wasn't heavy at all. Kepler pressed a button and I floated. I had fears of flight, so I was wondering why my stomach wasn't churning.
Kepler started to type.
"Neal, test one."
Neal walked towards me, saying things I can't understand. Then suddenly, I felt stings at my back.
"Complete." She said.
"Ah, he's a Draken." He paused. He snapped his fingers.
Neal's eyes widened and repeated.
"A Draken?! Should I report to Sir?"
"No, don't bother. He's seen Drakens. Test two Neal."
Then she walked towards me and flew. Then...
-Slap-
I opened my eyes. My cheek was aching.
"Oh god! You finally woke up."
I turned my head from the source. It was Patrick.
I groaned.
"Bro what happened to you? Are you ill?" Gab was pacing back and forth. Then I noticed I was in my room.
I sat up. "What's the time?"
"6 hours since you fainted. It's already 8!" Maja shouted. My eyes wondered from face to face, but I didn't see Christa's.
"Where's Christa?"
The gang exchanged looks.
"She's back home. Dealing with Madeline." Then Gab took his phone and dialed Christa's number.
"Yes, hello. Uh.. yeah he's awake. Mhm. Yeah. Wait, what?!" We turned our heads toward him as he exclaimed. He ended the call.
"What's wrong Gab?" Maja asked.
"Christa's parents... agreed to letting Christa go to England."
I don't know what hit me but I started moving and I dressed up.
"Let's go. We can't let our Voice go."
The gang moved swiftly and we rode Patrick's Chevrolet.
