Romans POV
I've never given much thought to how I would die, though I'd had reason enough I'm the last few hours, but even if I had I would have never imagined it like this. I stared without breathing across the long room, mind going black as I dazed at the grey concrete wall.
Surely it was a good way to die, in the hands of someone else. Or something else. And by something else I mean Being trapped in a dark room.
My train of thought was broken by someone shouting my name. Their voice sounded almost angelic.
I looked up to who was saying my name and it was none other that the emo nightmare. Yes I know 'emo nightmare' might be a bit harsh but he looks like an emo. And emo's tend to wear black, and black is basically nightmares.
I know it's complicated.
"Roman!" He sneered at me with venom in his voice. "What do you want emo?" I hissed back, "I want you to help us figure a way out of here sometime today!" "Ugh. There are no windows nor doors emo, only a vent that is strangely high for some reason." He looked like he'd seen a ghost when he heard my comment. "Vent?" He questioned, "yeah up there look" I said as I pointed behind Logan on the wall. All four of us gazed up at the silver metal vent in the wall, when Patton broke the silence "if that's the only way out, how are we meant to get up there? There are no ladders or anything!" He sounded panicked by the time he'd finished. "Hey um guys? Why is there a type writer in the corner? Look there behind Roman" Logan says to us. "Maybe we could use it to help us get out of here? Maybe break it apart or something?" I suggested to the group. "What if we try to type something and it's like, I don't know linked to something magically!" Said Patton enthusiastically. "Patton I highly doubt that this so called 'magic' is real. There is no such thing. The typewriter is probably there for no reason at all" Logan replied, "but you never know until you try" Patton sounded less enthusiastic at this point. "What do you two have to say about this 'magic' matter?" He directed the question towards me and my chemically imbalanced romance, to which he replied with "I don't think that Patton is right nor do I think your are right Logan. What about you princey?" I froze at the nickname he had given me. "Can we at least try to type something. If not for me then for our dearest Patton! Look at his adorable little face, you can't say no to that." I said with a high smile. "Ugh fine" was all I got in return "well what should I type then?" Asked Virgil wearily. "Something along the lines of 'help were stuck here' or something like that" Patton suggested you him. As Virgil typed in the words letter by letter, each time he typed a letter of 'help' the wall started shaking. 'Well I guess we're gonna die' I thought to myself. "What's happening to the wall?" Logan asked stepping away from the wall. "Wait a minute! What if the wall is moving to reveal a passage way or something? Ya know like I'm Harry Potter?" "Really Roman? That's the best theory you could come up with?" "Oh do shut up emo"
"Will you two stop arguing like and old married couple!" Hissed Logan. Me and Virgil both muttered that we wouldn't dare get married to each other. "I'm guys incase you haven't noticed yet but the wall is now like a staircase leading up to the vent." Now this caught our attention. "Who's going first then?" Asked Virgil "I will" I said heroically.
I started to climb up the wall when Patton started to sing the 'spider pig' song. I reached the top of the wall with ease, I ripped open the vent but as soon as I did that a green gas started to fill the room.
