GAR forces moves to the forests, patrolling the area. some of the forest are thick, so the Soldiers beginning to worried about "talking bushes" or booby traps laid by Koreans. GAR soldiers, mentored by some IJEF (Imperial Japanese Expeditionary Forces) starts moving to thicker forests, some went to swamps of Naboo to find the ship of Korean Army. but unfortunately, due to engine failure, Rune's tank corps are now lost.
"engine's good now?" said Raco.
"it's on, but not ok. we'll have to back to base for repairs." said Jacen.
"our GPS is down. we can barely make it to the base!" said Rune.
"Meesa also check da fuel. it's almost empty!" said Sto.
"Ya got those flares Commander?" said Raco.
"yes. I got it. I'll shoot it."
With flare gun, Rune signaled SOS sign to the base. the Theed tower guard saw that flare, and begins the rescue operation.
"I think they'll see that flare." said Jacen.
"our radio is on?" said Raco.
"no. our radio is down. it's malfunctioned, but the other 2 tanks that destroyed....." said Jacen.
"got it. I'll check those tanks." said Rune.
Rune quickly get out of his tank to the wreckage of other KI-88B near his tank. in that tank, he saw Corpses of fallen GAR tankmen.
"may they service will be honored." said Rune.
He quickly go to the radio near engine.
"Base 1. answer us Base 1!" said Rune.
"This is Base 1. what's your Soldier ID number?"
"RT-1138-65!" said Rune.
"Corporal Rune. what's your status soldier?" said Base 1 radio operator.
"our tank was down. we're trapped and low on fuel. 1 soldier WIA, 8 KIA!"
"ok soldier. we'll send rescue LAAT to your location. is that you who fired that flare?" said Operator.
"Yes sir! that was me!" said Rune.
"Hang on soldier, rescue incoming!"
not long after that, LAAT named "Plo's Bros", took off. because it's almost dark, they turned on the lights. piloted by Captain Alee-Uno, A rodian of 314th Rodia Battalion with 3 other rescuer, they flying to the thick forest of Naboo. meanwhile in the extraction point, Corporal Rune turning on his flare sticks to the air.
"it's them captain. prepare to land!" said one rescuer.
"I see their flares. lowering the ship." said Alee.
"ok boys, prepare to be evacuated." said Rune.
Alee quickly deploy the ladders to the last crewman. they quickly go up to the LAAT. the LAAT is now retreating back to Theed central command, abandoning the KI-88B behind.
"Corporal Rune! nice to see ya still alive in there." said Alee.
"nice to see you, captain. anyway, how's the operation at the frontlines?" said Rune.
"the GAR in frontlines are now camping. it's too dark to continue, and I've received the news that General Zee made an agreement with smugglers to send some Battle Droids in here!" said Alee.
"whaa-- What kind of battle droids?" said Rune.
"Droidekas, B2 super battle droids, and some BX Commando droids to assist the GAR. also I forgot something to tell ya, that not just battle droids, sequel faction's AT-M6 will also deployed. and we'll reinforced with some mando clans, Jedi knights, and Coruscanti Commando!" said Alee.
