"Dinner," Kowareta heard someone say from outside her dorm.
"NOT HUNGRY!" She replied. Footsteps faded away and Kowareta plummeted down into her bed and grabbed a picture frame on her table, it was a picture of a blond-haired girl in a pink and purple kimono.  "Mother..." Kowareta whispered. She closed her eyes and remembered...

She opened the door to my room and smiled. Her bleached blonde hair (which are usually tied in a neat, delicate bun) was now a shade of caramel blonde. She stared at me (more or less) lying there, under my favourite pink blanket. She walked towards my bed and swiftly lifted the blanket only to find herself staring at a column of pillows. The puzzled expression on her face made me laugh, revealing my secret hiding spot. She turned around and laughed, "Okay, you got me." I slid out of my hiding spot and squeezed her into a tight hug.

I was able to touch her hair. I ran my fingers down her hair, embracing the texture, the softness of her hair. "You like them?" She asked, staring at me with her calming brown eyes. I nodded, trying not to look away from her eyes. They were so... calming. It was they could give a glimmer of hope when everything was lost. She picked me up and led me down the hall and into our front yard. It was huge, with green grass and flowers of every colour you could imagine. It was Perfect. She went over to our chicken coop and started collecting eggs. Meanwhile, I played with Sapphire, our Australian shepherd. We named her that because of her beautiful blue eyes. "Fetch Sapphire!" I yelled as I threw her favourite toy ball across the yard. Sapphire chased after the ball and bought it back to me, put it down and wagged her tail. I fed her a doggie snack as a reward. She barked happily and leapt on me, knocking me off balance and starting licking my face. I laughed, "Mum, help! Doggie attack! Code red." Mother stopped collecting eggs and immediately put on a serious face.

"Fear not, my princess! I will save you." She ran towards me and picked Sapphire up, "and just what are you doing to our princess?" I laughed and she smiled. She put sapphire down and she immediately started chasing after a squirrel she saw nearby. My mom bends down so she was level with me and whispered: "How about our princess gets ready and comes for breakfast?"

Her memory got interrupted when someone opened her door, "Hey Rozū?" Akira said as she came in through the door. Kowareta got up and put the picture down. Akira came and sat down beside her. "Did you cut yourself again?" Akira asked, worried. Kowareta took her shirt off revealing a black singlet and black gloves. Her arms were covered in cuts and bruises, some of them were incredibly deep. Akira shuddered "You have to stop hurting yourself, she only gets stronger if you do that. You should... tell them."
"I " Kowareta corrected, "I get stronger. And in order for me to not let my quirk take control, I have to hurt myself." Kowareta had to hurt herself in order to stop herself from turning into a she-demon. However, every time she did hurt herself, her quirk keeps getting stronger. Akira looked down and said, "I don't have the words to make you feel better but, I just want to tell you, If you need to talk, I will always be here. If you don't want to eat, then that's fine, I'll leave you alone." Akira went outside with a smile but as soon as she reached the table there were tears in her eyes.

"Hey, its ok, maybe she just needs some time alone," Hagakure said as she tried to comfort her. Akira nodded and sat down. A few minutes later Kowareta came outside and sat down next to Akira. She saw Akira trying to hide her smile so she said: "Don't think this means anything..."

Yaoyorozu looked up, "Hey Rozū, umm I'm sorry. About what I said." Kowareta looked at her but didn't say anything. She took a bite of spaghetti from her plate and her eyes widened. She didn't want to show it but it was the most delicious spaghetti that she had ever eaten- or maybe it was because she was really hungry. "Like it?" Akira asked, "Yaoyorozu made it." Kowareta stopped eating then glared at Yaoyorozu, who looked really startled.  The expression on her face made Kowareta smile so she bit her lip and kept eating. She got up, put her hands in her pockets and before going to her dorm said, "Hey Yaoyorozu, I forgive you and the food was... good." Yaoyorozu gave a small smile and Kowareta went to her dorm. Now all alone Kowareta smiled and gave a soft chuckle.
