Chapter 29: Beautiful life

Kowareta smiled and they both went inside. Everything was decorated beautifully. There was a stage and the walls were decorated with beautiful flower garlands. There were fairy lights everywhere and a feast table was placed on the side of the room with the most delectable food imaginable. Students were walking hand in hand, chatting with their friends and laughing. Music was playing in the background. It was a mixture of formal and fun. Meaning not too formal or not too out of the place. 

Miss Midnight and Miss Erica came on the stage, both wearing beautiful dresses.
"First of all thank you much for attending this prom." Miss Erica said.
"Just enjoy yourself! Oh and don't forget to vote for prom king and queen!" Miss Midnight pointed to a ballot box nearby.

Class 1-A hung out together and the teachers were there too.
"I wonder who Mr Aizawa's date is...." Uraraka asked.

"The teacher's have date's?" Akira said. Mrs Joke appears from behind Mr Aizawa. Class 1-A smiled and laughed, Mr Aizawa noticed that and left, Miss Joke followed.

"Oh look-" Kowareta pointed to Shuel, "She's here too." Kowareta grabbed Bakugo and went over to her.
"Why are you dragging me into this?" Bakugo grumbled.
"Because you are my date!" Kowareta replied.

"Hi, Shuel..." Kowareta said.
Shuel looked at Bakugo and asked, "Sorry, are you blind and deaf? why would you be her date?" 
Kowareta smiled and said, "Well, at least I have a date, where is yours?" 
Shuel looked around and her eyes set on a boy with purple hair hanging out with a bunch of girls.
"Awww, looks like your true love is in love with someone else," Kowareta said.
"SHUT UP! when did I ask?" Shuel snapped.
"No... but you needed to know you dumb bitch!" Kowareta replied. 

Shuel attempts to hit Kowareta but Bakugo stood in front of her, covered Kowareta's eyes and put his hand out, "Don't touch her..." 
Shuel could see Kowareta smirking so she left. Bakugo lifts his hand up and looked at her. Kowareta smiled and Bakugo blushed and looked away. 

Kowareta saw Eri and she went over to her. 
"Ready?" She asked. Eri nodded. Eri nodded and went over to present mic who in charge of the music and whispered something in his ear. He nodded and "Cherry gum" started playing. Eri and Kowareta went into the middle. Their dance moves were perfectly in sync and they looked like they were having the time of their life!
"So that's what they were doing when they stayed home..." Midoriya smiled.

As the song reached its ending Kowareta stood where she was and Eri went to the other side of the room. Kowareta signalled her to come forward and Eri ran towards her and Kowareta picked Eri up as soon as Eri came close to her. She lifts her up and Eri spread her arms and legs. 
"The STAR LIFT!" Mina gasped. (Star lift is a dance move) 

Everyone clapped and Eri and Kowareta bowed. 
Kirishima went over to Bakugo and said, "Do it." 
Bakugo nodded his head 'no' and Kiri pulled him over to the side. "We had a deal!" Kirishima said. 

"What's up?" Kowareta asked as she made her way towards her classmates with Eri in her arms. 
"BAKUGO NEEDS TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" Akira said.
Kowareta handed Eri to Midoriya and he high fived her. "Oh really? Well, what is it?" Kowareta asked. 

Everyone was staring at them.
Bakugo sighed and opened his mouth, "I like..." Everyone held their breath. 
"I like movies!" Bakugo cringed at his own words. One more time, "I like-" His words were cut off when Kowareta put her finger on his lips. 

She took her arms and placed them on his shoulders then she leaned. Bakugo moved his head back a little but Kowareta leaned in and kissed him. Her lips brushed his, gently, beautifully, fragilely, like butterfly wings, just long enough that he could inhale her breath,  and feel the warmth of her skin. He let himself relax and his arms went around her waist, pulling her closer.

It felt so serene and peaceful just being. There. With him. Realizing that she had nothing to worry about. They pulled away from each other and for once Kowareta could see euphoria in his eyes. 

"Look! Our pomeranian boy has grown so much!" Mina said. 
"Ashido why are you crying? Kowareta asked.
"It's just so happy!" Mina said. Kowareta smiled and went up to the stage. 

A mic was set there, and she opened her mouth to sing, in the most beautiful and clear voice anyone had ever heard.

She finished and Akira ran to her and hugged her tightly. 

"Everything is finally perfect now!" Kowareta said and Akira nodded. She looked at their classmates and smiled.
