Some don't realize how far love extends.
Love connects two people, whether or not they feel the same way. Love is boundless energy and devotion. Love is free and impulsive, like children with unclouded minds.
Mattia knew this too well.
He knew that his love was boundless; he knew his love was impulsive, but how could it be anything more or anything less? As he watched his best friend in front of him in that infinite, open field full of flowers he didn't know the names of, he saw love in it's purest form. Love had become an amalgamation of his desires, the boy right there.
In that field, there was music; not only the music coming from the phone buried underneath the layers and layers of tall grass, but also the birds, the wind, the rustle of the plants that had settled there long before they did.
Mattia watched his love dance around in the grass and giggle, staring right at him as the sunlight faded from blue to purple to pink to orange to yellow. He watched the shadows from the trees gleefully fall onto the sides of that free, open field, everything perfectly framing the love that stood in front of him.
He could've cried from just the beauty of the scene
but he didn't.
Mattia smiled as he looked ahead at the boy, his love.
He knew that he would probably never confess his boundless love and desire to him, even if it killed him, but love is fearful too. Love had two sides to its coin:
Acceptance and rejection.
Rejection was terrifying and if he could die without the pain of rejection, he would die happy, even if the boundless love corroded his soul as it clawed and begged to be released from its cage.
But suddenly, his love stopped dancing and turned back at him
and he walked
and he embraced Mattia.
"You look beautiful like this." Said his love, with arms wrapped tight around him.
And Mattia wrapped his arms tight around his love,
took a breath in
and out
and smiled.

should've said this last chapter but read You! in beige :P anyways I've been in a mood to write pretty stuff !! idk I wanna be pretty, might start working out more. also I've been skateboarding recently and I fell hard as hell on my hands and knees trying to do a manual and now my knees are bruising and turning purple but that's cool so whatever. anywho, I was gonna rant a little about the Mairi community but I've decided against it because I'm in a pretty mood. anyone got photos of their bleeding gums? just wanna know... thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!
