"What is all this?" You look around in this belief. The amount of effort put into this place put you in awe.

"I... It's for you." Todd stammered. "I wanted it to look perfect." He blushed.

And it indeed looked perfect. The cave looks nothing like how it did before. He had placed candles around, a picnic blanket on the center with a rose on a bottle, as well as a radio.

"But I..." You look around, words trailing off. You still couldn't believe how beautiful the cave looked with just a little decoration.

"They agreed to not have a meeting tonight for... You know." He chuckled awkwardly.

You look around once more. The cave was no longer cold and damp, but instead, it was warm and cozy. Candles surrounded the area, staticy soft jazz played from a radio in the corner as Todd Anderson stood in the center with a single rose in his hand.

"Well?" Todd stood at the center, anticipating a reaction.

You grin. "I love it."

"Y-you do?"

"Yes." You laugh. "Yes! This place looks...beautiful." You breathed.

"Oh-" He chirped, setting the rose that he had brought with him down on the blanket and turned the radio up. The music echoes ethereally throughout the cave as the shadows and the lights that flickered from the candles swayed with the slow beat.

"I even attempted to learn how to dance just for this..." He joked, looking down at the ground as he sheepishly takes your hand, leading you slowly to sway with him. And suddenly it all felt different, but it all felt good. Todd, however, had been looking down the whole time, and you can tell he was completely flustered.

"Hey..." You spoke slowly, bringing his chin up gently with your thumb to make his eyes meet yours. Instantly, he flushed.

"It won't be a proper dance if you keep looking down at your feet."

His breath hitches.

"Eyes on me, Anderson."

"But- You might trip."

"I know how to dance." You chuckled, and from there on lead on how the steps go.

Step. Step. And little by little, it was as if the cave had expanded and you were waltzing around it. But the radio lost its signal and now you're both left with horrible static noise. You both grimace and Todd rushed to shut the radio down.

"Well, so much for a nice dance."

You both laughed.

"Well, the food is getting cold." You said, but Todd walked closer to you instead. Somehow mustering up the courage that came from nowhere, he dived in for a kiss- and Todd Anderson was never to be the one to make the first move. So you stood there a little surprised as he pulled away. It was your turn to blush.

"The food can wait, don't you think?"

Bashful, you look down and nod your head, but his thumbs carefully lifted your head to meet his eyes.

"Eyes on me, now." He teased, and you just chuckled, pulling him in for another quick kiss.

"Now I'm looking forward to every anniversary I'd spend with you, Anderson."
