After that intense session on Sunday, I spent the rest of the evening laying in bed. At around 8pm, I go down stairs to get some food, when I see my mom leave the house.

"Where are you going?" She turns to me, looking alarmed.

"Oh, just out. I thought that I should get some papers sorted out in the office." I look at her outfit, she has some makeup on and a black dress, she doesn't usually go to work like that.

"Oh ok." I let it go.

I get my food and go upstairs, I check my phone, I've got a message from Sasha.

Do you wanna study with me tomorrow-Sasha

Sure!- Rach

Maybe you could stay for dinner or smth.-Sasha

Yep- Rach

I check my contacts and decide to text Isabella.

¡Oye, cómo estás! Te extraño...-Rach (hey, how are you. I miss you...)

I write the same thing to Mateo and press send. Bored out of my mind, I decide to go running again. Changing into a black hoodie and sweats, I decide to take another route, towards the more abandoned places of the neighborhood. Yes I know what you are going to say, are you out of your fucking mind? It's bad and it's dangerous! But I don't care, there are some very nice views there, plus, I am really tired of running the same route over and over again.

I decide to take the bigger streets, avoiding all narrow alleys and tunnels, when suddenly I hear the sound of men shouting. Worried that someone might be someone in danger, I grab for my phone, ready to dial 911.

"Where the fuck is my phone?" I whisper to my self, as I pat my sweater and pants, then I remember that I left it on my bed.

"Fuck." I squeeze my keys a little tighter in my hands, and follow the sound, it doesn't feel so dangerous, since the sun is still setting, but everything is scary when you don't have your phone with you.

I take a deep breath and slowly peak my head to look around the corner. All I see is an old building, and there is no way in hell that I'm going in there. I turn around, ready to run away when two men corner me. I don't feel too worried, because by the looks of it, I can easily take them. At my old school, I had to fight off bigger kids, so I think I can handle myself. I just don't really like fighting when it's not really necessary.

"Hello pretty girl." One of the guys grins at me. Suddenly, three more men show up. Ok, I can't fight them all. Now I start to panic. Why did I have to run here, why, why, why, why....

With no other choice, I bolt away from them into the only direction a can, right into the building. Yay me.

I'm grateful that it's full of people, I secure my hood on my head, trying to blend into the crowd. I hear my chasers come in from the entrance, I walk further into the crowd until I can't anymore. I slowly raise my head, as I discover where I'm standing. In front of a boxing ring.

Oh come on.

I'm about to leave when suddenly I recognize a face, Jack is in the far left cheering the fighters on. I look into the ring, the first guy looks like he's in his late twenties or early thirties. He has short blonde hair and show muscles, making him seem more threatening than he really is. His opponent had his back on me, he had longer messy brown hair an-

His opponent suddenly turns and I'm blessed with Nates figure. His chest is bare, showing of his prominent eight pack, I was right, he had a snake and rose tattoo over his abs that move up to his chest. His eyes fixed on blonde dude as he lands another punch at him, Nate dodges it and fake punches him in the face, as blonde dude starts to protect it, Nate quickly digs his fist into his stomach, making blonde guy topples over. Nate hovers over the guy and elbows him in the face, probably breaking his nose.

Too violent for my liking, I look down and move away as they announce the winner, Iron Fist.

Haha, what a stupid name. Just kidding.

I move out of the crowd, I figure that if I move fast enough, I get out of here unharmed. I keep my head down, all of a sudden, I feel a hand cover my mouth and pushing back. My attacker lifts me up before I can kick myself free, another pair of hands grab my feet. Using me free hands I push my fingers into the guys eyes. He groans and let's go of me, I fall head first. The sudden extra weight, surprises the guy holding my legs, who also let's me go. I quickly push myself to my feet, when I'm punched into the stomach, hard. I stumble back, but don't fall. If you fall, they get the upper ground.

The guys advance at me, one of them is about to punch me in the face when suddenly, a hand grabs his fist at mid swing. I look up to find Nate, behind him is Jack, already beating the other guy to the ground. I turn back to Nate, he's still in his boxing pants, his knuckles are busted and his expression is deadly.

His eyes are black, not the usual bright green, his lips are pressed in a thin line. For a second, he stays like that, then, he pushes the guy to the wall, where he starts punching him over and over again. The guy falls to the ground, but Nate doesn't stop, throwing punch after punch. I glance at Jack who's still fighting the other dude.

"STOP!" I yell, hoping that one of them will listen, my scream fall on deaf ears. I try to pull Nate away from the guy, but he's too strong.

Damn it.

I look around and spot stick lying innocently on the floor. I seize it and start hitting Jack with it. This gets his attention.

"What are you doing, I'm on your side!" He rubs his head on where I hit him.

"I know, but I think that's enough." I yell through all the sounds coming from outside.

"What?"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" I yell louder.

"Oh." He releases the guy, who limps/runs away, clutching his face and stomach. That's when he looks over at Nate.

The bloody man is laying unconsciously on the floor, his nose looks broken, his arm is in a weird position and he is covered in thick red blood. I must admit that he doesn't look too good.

"Oh shit." Jack mutters as we rush over by him. Jack pulls Nate of the guy, and tries to hold him back, as Nate pushes him and tries to attack the man again.

"Your going to kill him!" I try to pry him of the guy.

"Stop!" I beg, he finally looks up, his black eyes, slowly softens as they return to their natural color.

"Please"" I whisper.

"Okay." His voice is hoarse, never leaving my eyes. I smile at him.

"Thank you."

Jack is the first to break the silence.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Um..I was running and then I heard noises, so I followed it, but then I realize that I forgot my phone, so then these guys come so I run in here, I see you guys and I was really shocked. Then I tried to run away, then I got trapped the-" I increase my speed with every words, now I'm just talking nonsense.

"Hey," I look at Nate, "breath."

"Are you okay?" Jack asks.

"Oh I'm okay." I look at the guy, still unconscious, I can smell the blood of him. I wrinkle my nose and look away.

"Should we call help or something?" I ask, actually worried about the man.

"No way." Jack cuts in.

"Plus, his friends are probably coming to save him as soon we leave." Nate chimes in.

"Oh, great." I sigh.

"Now what?" Jack asks.

I look at their bloody knuckles, "Do want to come to my house? You guys can clean up."

They think about this for a second."Ok." They agree.

I glance at the figure on the floor one more time, before I turn and walk out.
