The gravel road was dry and well maintained coming from the trade city of Belcroft to the capital. Clover thought, 'Well it should be maintained since this is the main roadway from the border to the capital. For military purposes, it should remain well put together.' Clover was well informed when it came to the logistics of the military since he was well aware of military inquiries and tactics from his previous life.

While the caravan was moving about, the trees swayed and the sun was warm. Today was great traveling weather for the caravan, and they proceeded to make time and continue as planned. In reality, the trip is supposed to take 5 months, but the merchant asked for 6 months just in case of weather problems persisting, but it looks like that has yet to occur at all.

Clover looks around from the rear of the caravan as the gravel grinds beneath his feet with every step he took with his steel soled boots. Clover heightens his senses and realizes that the wildlife around her seems to be avoiding the caravan with Clover at its epicenter.

Clover thought about it, 'Did I hunt so much that I actually made the wildlife around me scared... Good thing I'm leaving so they have a chance to regrow...' Clover felt bad that he didn't regulate his hunting to a mutual level for all the other hunters around the area. It seems he got a little too carried away with making money out of the parts and mana crystals.

The adventurers around the caravan were also on alert, not so much as if there was a looming threat in the distance but enough to be calm and collected about it. The adventurers knew that they were still relatively close to the city, and they were able to request reinforcements if they wished. But, once they get farther and farther, they would have to rely on themselves for their wits.

The adventurers around the rear end of the caravan consisted of a group of 4. Two fighters wielding broadswords, one cleric, and one wizard both wielding staffs for their respective positions. Contrary to gender stereotyping, the fighters are female and the magic wielders are male.

Clover observed them making astute opinions on what their capabilities are. 'Two fighters and two magic-users huh? It seems like a well-rounded group that probably focuses on quickly finishing a fight and healing.' Clover was right. The group that was stationed in the rear with him were ones that could finish a fight quickly and regroup with the caravan if need be.

"Let's see... and other groups." [Clover]

Clover senses the rest of the caravan he's traveling with. There were another 5 adventurer groups surrounding 4 wagons filled with goods. Clover thought, 'Whatever they are traveling with must be important considering how much protection that was hired.'

Clover didn't care about most of the other adventurers except for the ones leading the vanguard. It was a relatively large party of 6 people at the front of the caravan. Clover couldn't see what they looked like but he will get the chance to see them once the day is over and it was time for rest. They just began their day so this would take a while.

Clover and the rest continued traveling and came across a few other travelers heading the opposite direction towards Belcroft. The Merchant at the help of the caravan intended to keep going but was stopped by another traveler.

"Ey... fancy-looking dude. Be careful from here till you get to the crossroads, I heard bandits prowl this area..."

The merchant looks at the traveler and gives a nod in acknowledgment.

"Thanks for the warning." [Merchant]

The traveler quickly nods and continues on his way towards Belcroft city.

The merchant nods at the vanguard group's leader which then signals all the other groups to stay on alert until further notice. Clover notices this fact but still remains his chill self without regard for what's going to happen.
