The capital of the Del-Montreal Kingdom, a wondrous city filled with life and righteousness. The capital boasts magic technological advances from the academy of magic that is housed with the capital. The infrastructure of the capital ranging from the waste system, commerce, housing, nature, and security are all nicely kept organized by the reigning superiors of the upper nobility.

The capital didn't need tall walls surrounding the city for defense like trade city Belcroft at the national border because the capital city was established inside a caldera of a long-extinct supervolcano.

The royal family of the Del-Montreal kingdom keeps a tight grip on the upper echelon of the kingdom to make sure things keep organized and working together. The buildings in the capital are well built, using a gravel stone composition as the foundations of every building while wooden framing and reinforced smooth stone for the actual structure. Almost every building built in the capital had the aura of a passionate architect that took massive effort in carefully looking over building plans for a long-lasting city.

The castle at the center of the city sat atop a multileveled elevated hill looking down on the city below. Three defensive gates following the road all the way to the main castle at the top were strengthened and stylized with magic protection and carved pure white marble. Magical inscriptions could be seen carved into the design of the defensive gates each getting more complex as the gates continue.

In a certain room in the castle was a blonde boy with ruby red eyes and a maid with long black were having a conversation.

"Your highness! Please pay attention to your studies! I can only do so much to have you learn cultural values of different religions."

Remi dressed in a frilly maid outfit outwardly expressed her dissatisfaction towards the prince of the Del-Montreal Kingdom.

"But Remi! We studied all of this yesterday, I already know all the different key values." [Lyson]

"I know you have learned all of it but you have yet to understand the key fundamentals on why they are being worshipped. Knowing the passions of every religion's believers is still important in understanding religion. So get studying!" [Remi]

Remi is trying to have Lyson study the principles involved in everyday religious cultures of different kingdoms and empires around the world. This is for when the prince is needed to do diplomacy or go on his eventual knight's pilgrimage in the future, he would be prepared to serve people of all races and cultures.

Discrimination among the royalty and the Del-Montreal Kingdom is strictly forbidden and if caught would have severe consequences, this made the Del-Montreal Kingdom the most diverse and thriving kingdom on the continent.

"Aw man whatever, I'll try again like you said Remi." [Lyson]

Lyson was a smart kid. Out of the royal family, he was the youngest child sitting at the age of 14. Lyson currently has two sisters and two other brothers, all of which are older than Lyson.

"Say Remi, what is Melly up too? I haven't seen her in a few months. Is she doing all right?" [Lyson]

"Don't worry, your highness. I heard Melly is on her way back to the capital as we speak. I also heard that some dependable adventurers are guarding her." [Remi]

Lyson looked at Remi with happiness that his beloved sister was coming back home.

"But adventurers huh? Why didn't we just send the royal guard to escort?" [Lyson]

Remi looked at Lyson.

"From the information I have gathered as your maid, I believe we've tried to have her escorted by the royal guards but her highness rejected the idea of showing power towards the border cities." [Remi]
