Chapter 10: Just a pit stop

"Hmmm, I honestly thought you might take the offer. No matter it is your choice anyway." [Melly]

"It is as you say. But anyways have you finished eating? I need to clean up." [Clover]

Melly looks at her empty bowl realizing that she hasn't gotten seconds yet. She quickly rushes and gets more food from the put effectively finishing what's left of the food in the pot.

"Well thank you for helping me clean, now I don't need to waste the food." [Clover]

"Well, it is my pleasure. Anyways, can we be friends? I've grown tired of only talking to the merchant this entire journey. Since you know who I am it will be easier for me to talk to you." [Melly]

Melly was quite insistent and rather she was begging for Clover. Melly was really tired of talking to just the merchant the entire trip. She must keep anonymity from the adventures as they are always loud mouths that may leak the information to other people.

She deemed Clover trustworthy of the conversations they've had. Knowing this she wants Clover to be her one friend during this journey.

"Sure I don't mind. What shall I call you?" [Clover]

"Melly should be find, but I will only be coming out during the breaks probably or late at nights like right now." [Melly]

"That would be fine, I am working during the day when we're travelling around anyway." [Clover]

"That sounds good. I feel great knowing someone caring like you is watching over this caravan and defending it." [Melly]

"You surely jest Melly." [Clover]

"No it was a compliment from me as a princess and a friend." [Melly]

"I shall take it as it is then." [Clover]

"Good. Well then, I'll leave this bowl here for you. I will be heading off to my carriage to sleep. Thank you for your service Clover and watch over the night since it is still young. I'm depending on you to keep me safe." [Melly]

"Of course." [Clover]

Clover bows in the presence of Melly, but she found it slightly awkward right now and ushered Clover to cut it out. Clover honestly just found it more amusing to mess with royalty.

Melly headed off in the separate direction from Clover. Clover also dispelled the sound barrier that was erect around the campfire and got to work cleaning the pot and bowls that are in his inventory.

It was a relatively easy task as it involved just shooting water into his own dimensional inventory with all the dirty goods, practically using his own pocket dimension as a dish washer. It was relatively convenient since he learned how to separate things in his inventory.

After Clover was done washing the goods he continued sitting next to the fire tending to it until it was time to wake up other people for the nights watch.

The next day, in the morning, everyone proceeded to clean up camp and get ready to travel again. Clover was also getting ready and was wondering which carriage Melly was in.

Clover thought that the safest area in the carriage would be directly in the middle surrounded by the most adventurers.

"Hmmm, she might be there." [Clover]

Tarvin caught wind of this.

"What'd you say Clover?" [Tarvin]

"Nothin that involves your annoying personage." [Clover]
