Random Entry #6

I'm a creature under the sea. Ugly and everyone fear when they see me. I'm friendly but my face doesn't look like one. Sometimes I wished to be as pretty as human.

They have feet, a wonderful face, they can be on land or swim on the water. How amazing are human, right?

I was in the middle of humming when a lady talked to me.

"Why are you here?" She was staring at me intently when she asked me that question.

I smiled, I hope I didn't scare her.

"Sweetie, I want to see people from afar, I admire them. I also want to experience walking and strolling around on land but humans are afraid when they see me. They shout and even throw rocks just to prevent me from staying on land."

I was surprised when she sat beside me. She was smiling ear to ear.

"I really admire how different you are. I watched you from a far, You even cleaned the sea shore even though it's not responsibility. You put fishes on their fish cages for them to have the food and to earn. I can see your beauty despite of how people treat you as a horrible one. You shouldn't admire people on land. Little did you know they are the ones destroying your home. Are you okay with that?"

Even though I see her smiling, her eyes tells different. I saw sadness.

"I still admire people on the land. People from the land may hate me or even throw rocks at me but still there are still kind hearted ones who can still see me as a beauty and not a horrible one. A person who can talk to me and sit beside me. I won't stop admiring people as long as I can still see...

not only the good ones but also how people can change from being the worst ones to the best ones. I won't stop hoping for bad people to change, because you're the living proof that some people can still change." I smiled and looked at her. I saw how sorry she was, I can see it in her eyes.

I remember her, she's one of the people who cursed and throw rocks at me.

Who would have thought that she would see me as a beauty?
