Catra's POV
TW: super slight mention of abuse

Catra slammed the door and sat down on the steps of her run down home, and began to tie her old doc martens. The only pair of shoes that she owned.

This foster home was the longest one she'd ever been in, but also the worst one.

If her foster father wasn't drunk out of his mind, he was sober.

But in the worst way.

"God, where is she?" Catra said annoyed, and adjusted her shirt so that no one saw the marks.

"Woah," Scorpio said while out of breath, "Sorry, I couldn't find anywhere to park and-"

"Shut it, Scorpia. Have you talked to Entrapta?"

"Uh, no. I thought you would call her." Scorpia said nervously.

"God! You're worthless, you know that!"

Scorpia never does anything right. No matter what you ask her, or tell her. She was absolutely useless according to Catra. Catra didn't even know why she talked to her, even Entrapta too.

But then again, who would Catra be if she didn't have them.

"I texted her, we'll pick her up." Catra said bluntly and began to walk away.

"Hey, wait for me! I'm the one with the car keys you know!" Scorpia yelled after Catra.

Catra hopped in the car as Scorpia fixed her eyeliner while looking in the window of the car.

"C'mon we have places to go!" Catra yelled as she pounded on the window.

After the five minute drive the girls pulled up to the modern house in front of them and watched the girl with long purple hair run out to the car.

"Helloooooo!" Entrapta said enthusiastically.

"Ugh...it just gets worse with you two." Catra rolled her eyes and looked out the window.

Catra noticed the car hadn't moved, "Are you gonna hit the gas or not?"

"Do you guys actually want to do this?" Scorpia said while frowning, "This feels wrong."

"Scorpia," Catra smiled but soon turned into a scowl, "If you don't want to do this, you can drop us off right now, and you can drive your ass home! Because I honestly don't give an absolute shit if you are there or not!"

"It's fine... Let's just go." Scorpia forced a smile.

"Good."

After the short drive the three girls arrived at the beautiful home in front of them. It looked like something out of a movie. And Catra, hated it.

Scorpia peered into the duffel bag that Catra gripped onto. It was filled with toilet paper, and spray paint of all sorts of colors.

But she kept reassuring herself, she was doing this for Catra. For their friendship.

They all jumped out of the car and snuck onto the property of the principal of Brightmoon Academy. Also known as Angella. Also known as the wonderful mother of Glimmer.

Who Catra hated.

"Begin." Catra smirked.

Entrapta and Scorpia began throwing rolls of toilet paper across every tree, until they were strewn all over the place. As Catra spray painted the lovely home.

"You don't know what I'm capable of, Sparkles," Catra said as she spray painted Sparkles with a frowny face on the front of her house.

Then suddenly the front porch lights flashed on.

"Retreat, retreat! Go, go, go!" Catra yelled.

Catra, Scorpia, and Entrapta all sprinted to the car, and zoomed off not daring to look back at the mess they'd made.

"Wow! That felt good, right guys?" Catra looked at Scorpia and Entrapta.

"Okay really? You're actually gonna tell me you didn't love that?" Catra said in awe.

"I guess it was sorta freeing..." Entrapta trailed off, "I still feel kind of bad."

Scorpia gave Entrapta a look, "She's kidding! That was great! You were right Catra. I'm glad we did it."

Scorpia bit her tongue and stared straight ahead at the road, and didn't say another word. That's just how it had to be.

"Alright, night losers." Catra said as she got out of the car.

"Wait wait where are we meeting tomorrow? For the first day of school?" Entrapta asked.

Catra rolled her eyes, "Ugh I don't know, my locker or something. See you tomorrow."

Catra walked up the steps of her house, and took a deep breath as she entered. John was passed out on the couch, thank god.

She tip toed up to her room and flopped onto her bed.

She thought she would be happier after what she did. And she did. She felt great. But now.

She felt nothing.

"Until tomorrow," Catra said to herself and turned off her light.

And hell begins.
