~ Third Person P.O.V ~
A/N I want a Katsuki and an Eijirou. . . I want one right now.
Waking up in the arms of someone you know you could possibly come to trust is amazing. But waking up in the arms of two people you know you can come to trust is simply euphoric. It's scary, and a bit unsettling at first. . . but overall it's the best feeling one could possibly go through in a lifetime.
And that is exactly what Izuku Midoriya was feeling right now.
Izuku felt warm and cozy, as one of Katsuki's strong arms locked around his middle. And he felt safe and protected as Eijirou's wrapped around his back. Even in their own unconsciousness the two boys couldn't help but feel the need to protect Izuku. To make him feel safe and cared for.
Unbeknownst to them, those were the two things Izuku longed for the most. The two things he craved out of life, and that is precisely what he got in that moment. Because if there was one thing Izuku was sure of, it's that those two boys were people he could one day trust with his life.
'Heh, one day. . .'
"What are you mumbling about nerd? It's early go back to sleep." A groggy voice croaked, which Izuku instantly knew belonged to Katsuki.
"Kacchan, it's not even that-" Izuku's head lifted up slightly, eyes trailing to the digital clock on the desk, "Oh, never mind it is early."
Eijirou clasped his hand over Izuku's mouth, eyes still shut yet a sleepy smile toyed onto his lips. "And some of us are trying to get our beauty sleep, do you think it's easy looking like a snack everyday?" He muttered against Katsuki's shoulder.
"I'll have to agree with the 'looking like a snack' part," Izuku chuckled softly. His head dropping back down to nestle into the blond's neck.
"Oh?"
Katsuki rolled his eyes at the two, playfully flicking his red headed boyfriend on the forehead with a smirk. Slightly jumping at the action Eijirou's red eyes snap open, shooting exhausted daggers at Katsuki.
"Don't let Izuku's compliment go to your head, it's big enough already." The blond snickered, earning a fist to his thigh.
"I do not have a big head- tell him Mido!"
The freckled male lazily flicked his eyes open, still leaving his lids half shut. "Don't be mean to Kiri, or I'll tell him about the goldfish incident." Izuku said, noting the way Eijirou perked up at the newly developed nickname.
"You wouldn't dare!" Katsuki gasped, pulling back to look at the boy.
"Try me, blondie."
Looking back and forth between the two, Eijirou tilts his head to the side- locks of red covering his eyes and brushing the tip of his nose. "What the hell is the goldfish incident?" He asked, perplexity clear in his tone.
"If you tell him I'll-" Katsuki started only to be promptly cut off by Izuku's sassy facial expression.
"You'll what?" The green haired teen asked innocently, tilting his head with an owlish look on his face- lips parted slightly, yet the corners were turned up.
Scarlet eyes pooled into emerald green ones, Katsuki scrutinized the boy on top of him. The blond hated it, hated knowing that Izuku had backed him into a corner. . . in all playfulness or not. He was cornered.
"That is an asshole move and you know it." Katsuki grumbled, his grip on the teen tautening.
"And that's exactly why I did it!"
Eijirou just watched the two ramble on with each other, a faint smile teasing his mouth as he did so. The red head knew that they all had more than a few hefty topics to discuss with one another. . . and they haven't even disclosed where they stood as far a relationship status'. But him seeing the two like this, Izuku and Katsuki bantering with matching scowls on their faces- him by their side watching it all unfold. It felt somewhat domesticated to him. . . And he loved every bit of it.
But alas, all good things must come to an end.
"We have to talk," Izuku announced, heat pooling in his cheeks as red patches dusted across his nose and shoulders. He was nervous as hell.
The three of them sat up, Izuku now sitting cross legged in front of Eijirou and Katsuki. Eijirou's stomach churned and Katsuki's had jumped to his throat, the two were anxious to say the least. Waiting patiently for the freckled boy to continue on. . . or at least they were trying to wait patiently.
"Look, I know that me keeping this from you guys was bad. A real dick move on my end, but- but you've got to understand. . . this, this whole trusting and letting people in thing isn't easy for me." Izuku whispered, keeping his eyes trained on the blanket. "I've been hurt, way too much for it all to come easy."
"But that doesn't mean I don't want to try!" He added quickly, "We all still have a lot to learn about each other, and I want that to happen- because you two make me want to trust people. And I know I owe you both an explanation for everything but- but I just can't, at least not yet."
The air between the three was quiet, and said silence was driving a certain green haired college student mad. Were they still a bit upset with him? Did they not want to be patient- ?
Katsuki's broad hand on Izuku's shoulder caused the boy to jump, he went rigid for a moment. . . that is until he soaked in the blond's and Eijirou's expressions.
"You don't have to explain anything to us if you're not ready." Katsuki said softly, his hand trailing up to cup Izuku's cheek.
"And we'll be here for you Mido, me and Kat are pretty persistent- we're going to prove to you that it's okay to trust us." The red head added, cupping the other side of Izuku's face.
The red eyed blond shifted his weight a bit, giving Izuku a reassuring toothy grin. "We won't pressure you into anything you don't want right now. But I hope you know you're going to be seeing a lot of us." He said.
Moisture pricked the outer rims of Izuku's eye lids, his bottom lip quivering with a wavering smile. Then a soft hiccup escaped Izuku's lips, a few stray tears cascading down his cheeks.
"Why're you crying Izuku?" Katsuki asked.
"Because- because you guys are being so sweet about it!" Izuku chuckled through a stream, of tears. "I can't handle all of it."
"Well you ought to get used to us being sweet- well, mainly me being sweet- we meant what we said about not going anywhere." The red head beamed, gently kissing Izuku's cheek.
Wiping his eyes Izuku shakes his head in an amused manner. "I don't know how I feel about a relationship just yet but. . . in a sense I guess I'm with you guys? Does that make sense?"
"So, we're exclusive but- not exclusive?" Eijirou asked, he wasn't upset with the terms to be honest- like they said just a few minutes ago, they knew it would take time for Izuku to fully trust and be comfortable with them.
The freckled teen grimaced. "Yeah, it's just I don't know how-" Izuku started, only to have Katsuki's hand over his mouth.
"You don't have to explain yourself to us," He said softly.
