~Sirius POV Christmas Holidays 7th year ~

I glance over my shoulder to see Remus levitating tree through the the halls, James and Peter close behind. Pete stops and doubles over, trying to catch his breath.

"Guys- wait- for- me!" He gasps, leaning on James. James rolls his eyes and turns into his animagus, Prongs, with Peter following suit. Wormtail hangs on to Prong's antlers as he charges in front of Remus and I, dodging the tree as he goes. I take off after them, dragging Remus and a floating tree behind me.

~Remus POV, in the common room~

Prongs bends and nudges the box of lights with his snout. I laugh.

"Prongs will do the lights then!" I pull them out of the box and hand the string to him. He takes it in his mouth and trots around the tree with difficulty. I turn to the other boxes scattered around the room. Sirius snatches one overflowing with ornaments and drags it over to the tree.

A couple minutes later the tree has ornaments on every branch, and James has the lights completely tangled on his antlers. Sirius ignores Prongs and tries to get the star on the top of the tree. He's standing on his toes, and his arm is still a foot short of the tallest branch. I laugh and lift him up.

"AAH- oh thanks Moony!" He places the star at the top gingerly. I set him down, and he takes two steps back and put his hands on his hips.

"It needs snow." He says.

"What?" Peter asks.

"Snow. Duh." He runs over to a window and pulls out his wand. A fully fledged snowball fight follows, because you can't have snow and the Marauders and not expect a small war. I sit back, shivering, and watch James sneak up behind Sirius and slip a handful of snow into his jacket.

The slowly melting snow is going to be hard to explain to our classmates.

Sorry this is short! I made another book of Solangelo and Percabeth oneshots, so if you ship either of those, check that out!
