Reunited

I looked down at the necklace around my neck. It's been 3 years since I have seen him. You are probably wondering what the hell I am on about.

Story time.
I got this necklace when I was five, it is a friendship necklace. The other part belongs to my best friend Aiden. Aiden said that he didn't want a necklace because it was too girly so we found a friendship puzzle that was a necklace and a keyring. Both of them fitting perfectly together and we were happy with that. We have been best friends since we were tiny. We did every thing together. Things like learning to walk, learning to talk, playing etc. We were inseparable. This was until we were 10. 1 month after our 10 birthday (we had the same b-day) Aidens parents announced that they were all moving.

I haven't seen him since then and I really miss him. Any who, I was walking down the corridor of my school towards my form room.

Well at least i was walking in the right direction. I carried on till I got to the door of my form room and walked in. I sat in my place and waited for everybody to arrive.

"Um miss" said James from the door. Everybody turned to face the front.

"Yes?" she asked looking up.

"I found a new student in the corridor and he said that he is in this form."

"Oh, you must be..." The teacher began.

"Aiden" I interrupted.

"Zoe" Aiden said. I put my hand over my mouth, my face a picture of shock. I stood up and ran towards him. His arms were open and within 2 seconds we were wrapped in each others embrace.

"I haven't seen you in forever," I said tears running down my face.

"3 years is a long time but it's not forever." He chuckled.

"You two know each other?" Asked miss Taylor. We both looked at each other and started laughing while everyone looked at us as if we were crazy.

"We have been best friends since we were tiny" I explained. "But Aiden moved when we were 10." I remembered the day Aiden left like it was yesterday.

FLASHBACK

We were hiding under my bed clinging to each other. Aiden was supposed to leave today but neither of us are gonna leave each other.

"Do you think they will find us here?" i asked.

"No, i don't think they'll find us here" Aiden said comforting me. We were still clinging to each other when we heard the door being opened.

"Aiden, Zoe come on we need to leave" said Aidens mum.

We looked at each other with worried expressions on our faces. Suddenly a face appeared under the bed.

"There you are" Aidens mum said smiling."Sorry guys but we have to go." She pulled us out from under the bed and tried to pull us apart but we just held on to each other tighter.

"Can i have some help please?!" She shouted down the stairs. My mum came upstairs and the pair tried to pull us apart. We never let each other go and both of us started kicking and screaming. When they managed to pull us apart we were screaming even louder and trying to get out of our parents grips.

"AIDEN!"

"ZOE!" We sreamed at the same time. By time I was out of my parents grip they were already driving away.

"AIDEN" I screamed running after the car until it reached the end of the road.

FLASHBACK END

After that day I didn't talk to my parents for a month. You can't exactly blame me as I was only 10 and had just lost my greatest best friend.
