I smirked at my brilliant plan. My mate Liam ,the Alphas son, is going to introduce me to the pack and I have a great idea. You see I am a shifter meaning I can shift into any animal I want to. My idea is to shift into a cute German Shepherd puppy instead of going on stage as myself. This is going to be hilarious. Hehe. I made sure there was no one around then changed into a puppy. I listened to the announcements until I heard my mate call my name.
"I would like to introduce you to my mate Eve" Liam said into the microphone. At that moment I went bounding on stage up to him. I sat down in front of him with my tail wagging and tongue out. I heard the pack and Liam all laughing but when I looked at his dad he looked furious.
"Is this some kind of joke?" He boomed. Every body shut up and stared at there Alpha.
"No dad" Liam said trying to contain his laughter.
"Well it certainly seems like it" he said. I didn't want Liam to get in trouble so I thought that was the best time to change back. I shifted back to my human. One thing I like about being a shifter is that when I change back I still have my clothes on unlike werewolves like my mate. I stood up next to my mate.
" Hi I'm Eve, Liams mate " I said smiling. Every ones face was one of shock, well except for mine and Liams.
"What?" I asked giggling.
"Everyone meet your future Luna" Liam exclaimed. Every one started clapping and cheering except for one person.
"What?" Mia screeched. "She can't be your mate because I am"
"You are not my mate Mia and you never will be" Liam shouted using his Alpha voice. Mia bowed her head in respect and ran off.
"Well let's carry on with the BBQ," Liams dad said with a grin.
