It has been a few weeks since we killed the Rajasaurus and had our impromptu growth spurt. The scientists and workers here tried to move us by knocking us out with Satan's ass gas as I've come to call it but it seems with our growth spurt and our body's immune system adapting to it, they were unable to knock us out so they left us here.
The area the Rajasaurus was kept has a glass and wire mesh roof which made it a glorified greenhouse. Surprisingly enough, my brother and I loved the heat despite being warm blooded unlike most reptiles, the main reason we haven't escaped is because we spend most of our time sunbathing.
Though this may have seemed counter productive, we actually used this time to practice manipulating our magic even further and discovered that we passively absorb ambient magic. Unlike in my human body, I could only manipulate my magic in a brute force way. There would be no transforming or portals, only destructive beams and pulses, crude shielding and claw sharpening.
I'm not complaining too much, because of the way it's used, we have obscene amounts of it because there's no need for elemental transformations. Pure raw magic is normally impossible for humans and elves and as such, they don't have much protection against it.
Brother, I wish to leave.
Now? But we are safe, they haven't done anything to us since we grew.
But we can grow more and I can sense others with our potential. I cannot stand the thought of others being above us!
Alright brother, I understand, let us leave now.
We folded our wings, getting up from where we sunbathed. I knew that I couldn't stop my brother because he would just chew my head off and not eat to let it regrow until he's far from here.
We leapt into the air, clapping our wings beneath us and shooting up to the roof. Spinning in the air so that we faced the wire and glass ceiling. Coating our claws in magic, we sunk out claws into the glass, grabbing the wires inside.
We hung there, building up energy in our throats, releasing it in twin continuous beams, cutting a hole just large enough for us to slip out. We hooked our claws on the edge and pulled ourselves out.
Jumping into the air, using some base instincts, we hovered in the air, charging more beams to destroy the turrets I could see coming online. Destroying the ones in front of us, we prepared to destroy the ones opposite of us but got shot and sent flying into another enclosure.
We ignored the startled animals there, and shot back out, another attack prepared and fired at the power station. With the turrets out of commission we took to the sky, flying off, not realizing the chaos we just unleashed onto this world.
We slammed down onto the ground beside a lake, growling in pain. The shot from the turret has charred the armour plating and slowed the regeneration significantly. Sniffing at it I tried pulling it off but my head alone wasn't strong enough.
Need help brother? He asked, giving me an amused look. I glared at him, growling while responding.
Would be nice if you helped.
Together we both ripped off the plating. I did not yelp even slightly. We ended up just crushing it between our jaws and eating it, speeding up the regeneration as a new plate pushed its way out of our skin. We reared up, raising our heads skywards and announced our freedom to the world. As we settle for the night, a distant sound reaches our ears. Others have heard our call and responded, we have a goal now. To become the monster of all monsters.

Hawk: Far shorter and we've missed a day, I know, but I found a rather interesting story here on wattpad that has consumed my attention. Be sure to comment if you have any ideas for Light or myself to perhaps include in future chapters.
