chapter Three

Recap:

We got back home and saw my grandparents on the couch looking at the television. It was around 4:30 pm when we got back.

" Hey I'm home," I said

"Hello Navin and Angel," my grandpa said.

"We have to get ready for 8 pm tonight so you guys can go up and see what your gonna wear," Grandma said as she left for the kitchen.

I smiled and we made our way up to my room. I lay on my bed and started to think if I can really meet someone there and maybe fall for them. I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts when angel announce that she was gonna take a shower. I nodded and mentally smile since she takes very long to get ready. So just to think about it how long she would take as she was going to meet the royal family and maybe her dream guy? Everything must be perfect for her.

I decided that I will listen to some music while I looked for something to wear. I looked for some time until I found this nice suit that was blue my favorite color I mentally squeal. After a few minutes, Angel got out and I turned to her and asked her about the suit.

"Hey, do you think I will look good in this?" I asked

" Navin you look good in anything you wear I'm a bit jealous you know." She said pouting a little.

I laughed and decided to go shower and let her change and get ready. I showered for about 20 minutes and got out to see Angel in a really cute blue-looking ball dress. It was not too extravagant or too simple it was just perfect on her.

"Hey, can you close your mouth I don't think I look that good?" She said shyly.

"Damn you look like a princess but yet like a normal person". I said cause I couldn't find the right words to say.

"What's that supposed to mean?" She said confused.

"Sorry I meant you look really good like you are sure to capture the king's heart even".I laughed

"Are you done?" I asked pointing to her hair.

"No I don't know what do to with it," she said while sitting on the bed.

"Maybe you can look at some videos on YouTube to see if that can help". I recommended.

She quickly got up and headed over to the computer and start her search. I started to get dressed as well and I stop when it was time to try the suit on, still not quite sure about it. I ask angel one last time and she only nodded "should I wear it?" Since she was so busy looking for a hairstyle. After I tried the suit I love the way I look in it.

"Hey, how do I look angi?" I ask shyly

"Oh my fucking God, I think I'm hard". She said with a smirk.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're a girl you know?"I said sarcastically.

"You look hot I'm sure you gonna be the one who is gonna bring someone back to your room boo." She said smiling.

"Thank you," I said.

Afterward, we heard a knock on the door and I quickly open it and saw my grandpa standing looking like he saw a ghost or something.

"Hey, do I look that bad?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"No no you look really good son," he said with a smile.

"Are you guys ready? He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Wait what time is it?". I asked curiously.

"It's 6 pm," he said.

"You scared me, grandpa". I said as I took a deep breath in.

He laughed and left us to go back to our current activity before he arrived. I went into the bathroom and decided what I will do with my hair. I brushed it to the side and added some gel to it. I brushed my teeth and got out back to see angel completely ready. She looks really beautiful. I adore her honestly and so did she. She went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth and got out back and we went downstairs. We sat there on the couch until my grandmother came.

"Oh, my dears you two look so beautiful". She said with tears in her eyes.

"Thank you," we said simultaneously.

Afterward, she went to get my granddad to tell him we are all ready. They came back after a few minutes. I decided to check my time on my phone it was 7:25 pm.

"Hey, we will have to wait until the car comes for us". Grandpa said.

"Wait a car is coming for us? Why can't we take your pa?" I asked curiously.

"It was arranged by his majesty, so I didn't refuse". He said.

We waited for a few more minutes and suddenly heard a car outside.

"Hey the car is here," grandpa said.

"You guys ready?" My grandma asked us one last time.

"Yeah," we said.

We got into the car and headed our way to the palace. As we drove passed the houses on our way I became nervous and more nervous as we got closer. I began to think how proud my parents must be looking down on me from the heavens. I know that they must have gone to heaven; they were never bad and always try to make people around them happy. I was quickly snapped out of my thought when Angel said.

"Hey, we are here". In an excited voice.

I began to think about how long I thought about my parents and I didn't even realize that we had reached here so quickly.
