Chapter Eighteen "Official"

Hey, guys I'm sorry for my late update I hope you guys are safe and well. As for me, I'm fine just nervous a lot because my exam result is coming out on Tuesday. I have anticipated this day and it's almost here and now I don't know to react to it.  Well let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best I love you guys so much and once again thank you for taking the time to read my book, it means so much and your comments have given me the motivation to write more thank you so much.

I sat there in the car, waiting for Jai to say something. After a few seconds, he pulled out the dark glass and greeted me with his sweet smile.

"Are we here? Why can't I see out the glass anymore?" I asked him trying to see through the dark window.

"The window can change from light to dark and completely dark so you can't see outside. Jake asked for this to be personally installed in the car for tonight and for this exact moment. He doesn't want to ruin the surprise." Jai said.

"Now are you ready to go?" Jai asked.

After hearing the question, I started to feel nervous almost instantaneously.

"I guess so," I said quietly rubbing my hands together.

Jai closed the dark glass and I heard nothing afterward.

"The place is very quiet where are we? Hopefully, Jai didn't kidnap me." My subconscious began to ask.

After a few seconds, Jai opened the door and I still couldn't see behind him.

"Can you close your eyes please?" Jai asked

This only made me more paranoid but I did it still. I closed my eyes and turned in his direction.

"Now give me your hands," Jai said.

I hesitated a little and gave him my hands after a few seconds of thinking more paranoid thoughts.

He held my hands and help me out.

"Hey it's okay be nervous but you're shaking relax I'm not going to kidnap you," Jai said with a chuckle.

"Ha funny that's what they all say," I said still closing my eyes.

He helped me out of the car and I stood still and awaited his next instruction. He then released my hands and told me to open my eyes as I heard him moving around me.

I slowly opened my eyes and I was shocked. I was standing at the entrance of a beautifully decorated pathway. But as I look around we were surrounded by beautiful plants and a vast amount of breathtaking flowers. I was completely amazed at how bright the lights made the flower's petals. It had candles leading the pathway, with petals of rose for me to walk on. I turned to face Jai to see him only smiling widely and gesturing for me to go on. I turned back and gently place my feet on the petals.

"What are we playing now Cinderella? Walk quickly I'm starving." My subconscious said.

Sometimes I wonder if my subconscious were to be a person I would have probably committed murder or suicide by now. I decided to walk faster and follow the pathway. I stopped when I saw a rose with a piece of paper wrapped around it; I picked it up and unwrapped it.

"I can't wait to see you, my love." The paper stated; making me blush a little too much.

I continued down the pathway and admired the beautiful flowers that I'm pretty sure I have never seen before. They were blue, purple green, red, white, and even orange flowers alongside the candles which only made it more breathtaking. I began to wonder how did he know I love nature so much; I can't remember telling him that I did.
