Anakin stared out the window, watching speeders rush by. "Captain Typho has more than enough men downstairs. No assassin would try that way." Obi-Wan explained as he walks towards Anakin.

"I don't like just waiting here for something to happen to them." Anakin said as he felt a shift in the force as Asuka is shifting in her sleep. 

"What is going on?" Obi-Wan asked as he looks into the handheld device. All he can see is R2 and R4.

"The girls covered the cameras. I don't think they want us to watch Asuka, Padme, and Yumi." 

"What were they thinking?" Obi-Wan scoffs. 

"Asuka programmed R2 to warn us if there is an intruder while Yumi did the same to R4 for Padme." 

"There are many ways to kill a Senator, let alone a Governor." 

"I know, but we also want to catch this assassin, don't we, Master?" 

"You're using them as bait?" 

"It was all Asuka's idea. Don't worry, no harm will come to them. I can sense everything going on in those rooms. Trust me."

"It's too risky. Besides, your senses aren't that attuned, my young apprentice." Obi-Wan stares down the hallway, feeling Homura as she moves around in her room. 

"And yours are?" 

"Possibly."

"You look tired." Obi-Wan said.

"I don't sleep well anymore."

"Because of your mother?" 

"I don't know why I keep dreaming about her."

"Dreams pass in time."

"I'd much rather dream about Asuka. Just being around her again is....intoxicating." 

"Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin. They'll betray you. You have made a commitment to the Jedi Order, a commitment not easily broken. And don't forget, she's a politician, and they're not to be trusted."

"She's not like the others in the Senate, Master."

"It is my experience that Senators focus only on pleasing those who fund their campaigns, and they're in no means scared of forgetting the niceties of democracy  in order to get those funds." Obi-Wan felt bad for talking about Asuka like that, but it has been ten years since they've seen one another and has no idea on how much she's changed. 

"Not another lecture. At least not on the economics of politics." 

As the two Jedi's argue, a small hole was created in Asuka's window and two disgusting and poisonous slugs dropped onto the floor of her room. They quickly crawled their way towards her bed, careful to be out of the sight of R2. 

Asuka was wearing her brown, white, and tan cat nightgown that comes with a hoodie with ears and a tail in the back. The poisonous slugs got on her bed. One is crawling towards her legs as the second one is reaching her open mouth. 

Anakin and Obi-Wan were arguing until they sense a shift in the force. "I sense it too." 

Both men quickly rushed to Asuka's quarters. Anakin ignited his lightsaber as soon as he saw the two poisonous slugs crawling closer towards the girl he loved. He gracefully jumped on her bed and sliced both creatures in half.

Asuka woke up with a gasp as she felt the heat from the lightsaber. Anakin and Asuka stared at each other for a while until Obi-Wan leaps out of the window, grabbing hold of some kind of droid. 

"Stay here!" Anakin tells Asuka as he runs out of her room. Just as the rest of the girls and the guards quickly rush into her room after they heard the commotion. 

"Asuka! Are you alright?" Padme asks her.

"Yes, I am. I think we need to check the rest of the floors." Asuka told Captain Typho.

"Yes, Senator."

Asuka has finished talking with Jar Jar on taking over her and Padme's place in the Senate. Asuka is wearing a red kimono with a frog on the back. The one her grandfather gave her when she become the lady shinobi of Naboo. 

"I don't like this idea of hiding." Asuka said as she stomps her way back to her room. 

"Don't worry. Now that the Council has ordered an investigation, it won't take Master Obi-Wan long to find this bounty hunter." Anakin told her as he watches her angrily grab clothes from her closet in amuesment.

"I have worked over a year to defeat the Military Creation Act and not be here when it's fate is decided." She says as she puts her clothes in her luggage. 

"Sometimes we must let go of our pride and do what is requested of us."

"You really have grown up." Asuka said. 

"Master Obi-Wan manages not to see it. Don't get me wrong, Obi-Wan is a great mentor. As wise as Master Yoda an powerful as Master Windu." Anakin used the force to make a ball float in the air as he speaks his thoughts to her.

"I am truly thankful to be his apprentice. In some ways-a lot of ways-I'm really ahead of him. I'm ready for the trials, but he feels that I'm too unpredictable. He won't let me move on." 

"You must be frustrated by that." Asuka said. 

"It's worse. He's overly critical. He never listens. He-he doesn't understand. It's not fair!" 

"Ani, that's what mentors are supposed to do. They have a way of seeing more of our faults than we would like. It's the only way we grow up. Also do remember you started much later in training than you were supposed to, so it must be difficult for Obi-Wan to try and catch you up." Anakin felt slightly jealous as Asuka stood up for his master but he knew she is right. 

"I know." Anakin sits on her bed as Asuka watches him in worry.

"Ani, don't try to grow up too fast." 

"But I am grown up." Anakin stands up so he towers over the young woman, his blue eyes staring intently into her hazel ones. 

"You said it yourself." A smirk appeared on his lips as he looks her up and down in her kimono dress, making her blush and a shiver went down her spine. 

"Please don't look at me like that!" Asuka cried as she blushed. Even though she really wanted him to never stop.

"Why not?"

"You reminding me of Katsu when she looks at me like that and it's making me uncomfortable." Asuka said before leaving to continue to pack.

"I'm sorry, milady." She heard him as she felt him smirking and checking out her backside. She blushed bright red. 

She didn't say anything.
