The Ninja Goddess of the Force

Asuka sighs as she readies her Green Willow and Red Blossom. She stood in very tall grass as she lets out her frustration. Then, she begins to run. Her swords begin to glow green.

"Secret Ninja Art....Double Sword Slice!" She yelled before unleashing her power.

She stops running as the grass slides went up in the air, clearly a path for her.

Anakin sat nearby on a large blanket, completely stunned on what he has just saw.

"So....how do you like my secret ninja art?" Asuka asked as she runs and hop next to him.

"That was....amazing. I never seen anything like that before." Anakin said.

"It's my best weapon of surprise." Asuka smiled.

"Do you miss being a shinobi princess?"

"I do, a lot actually. I was never the type who is afraid of getting her hands dirty nor I was never to dress up to impress those pretty boys." Asuka explained as she set her swords down.

"So you're telling me that no one's caught your attention before." Anakin says in disbelief.

"I was always busy between my training and spending time with my family and friends. I was never really looking to date." She replied.

"How did your family feel about you being a shinobi Warrior?"

But he later feels guilty when he sees her eyes filled with grief.

"My parents were against it because they don't want their baby girl to be hurt. I was exploring a field one night and came across these two swords. They were glowing green and I took them home with me. Then, one night, a bounty hunter was trying to break into a home. Then, everything seems black to me. When I came out, I used the swords to break both of his legs and bash his face pretty good with my feet. What I didn't know was it was the prince warrior's house that he was trying to break into. So, the prince rewarded me with his title. He said that I have the mind of a ninja and a heart of a warrior and that I was the one that the gods has chose." Asuka explained.

Anakin didn't see this one coming. He never though that she became a warrior princess like this. 

"Have you ever tried riding those?" Asuka asked as she points at the large creature. 

Anakin smirked before taking off and got on the large creature's back.  Asuka lets out a loud laugh as she watches Anakin buckle around on the poor creature's back. Then, he flies off and the creature stomps over him. Asuka stops laughing as she watches Anakin try to get up but failed.

Asuka quickly runs towards, freaking out that he may have gotten hurt. 

"Ani? Ani, are you alright? Say something!" Asuk cries over as she got closer. She got on her knees and flipped him over, only to find him laughing.

"You asshole!" She yelled out as she smacks his chest, then she ends up laughing with him. Anakin grabs her and started to roll each other down the hill, laughing like children. 

They soon stopped, Asuka on the top and Anakin on the bottm. They both gazed at each other and once again they were having a moment. 

But something had changed between them and Asuka feared it was gonna happen sooner or later.

"Really? Aggressive negotiations I thought that the Jedi are peaceful people." Asuka laughed as the duo were having dinner.

"Well, why do you think we have lightsaber." Anakin explains to her, making both of them laughed.

Asuka was about to eat a pear but Anakin use the force to take it out of her foot and onto his plate. 

"If Master Obi-Wan saw me doing this, he would be very grumpy." Anakin smirked, making her giggle. 

He use the force to float the piece back to her and she takes a bite out of it in mid-air. 

After dinner, Asuka went to the small living space, the only light being there is the fireplace. She was sitting on the couch, just thinking. Anakin appeared and sat next to her. 

He couldn't take it anymore so he decided to tell her how he feels about her. 

"From the moment I met you-all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm with you again, I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worst it gets. The thought of not being with you-I can't breathe. I'm haunted by the kiss that you have never given me. My heart is beating, hoping that someday I can get closer to you. You are in my very soul, tormenting me. What can I do? I will do anything that you ask." 

Asuka looked down as she felt his burning into her. She knows that she feels the same way, definitely felt the same way. But she knows it will never work. He's a Jedi and she was afraid that she will be the one who will made him break the code. 

"If you are suffering as much as I am right now, please tell me." 

"Anakin, I know I-I feel something for y-you, but it can't never work. It-It's not possible." Anakin shook his head at her words. "Anything is possible, Asuka. Listen to me." 

"No, you listen." Asuka shot up from the couch and look at him. "Our lives, Anakin, are so fucking different. You're studying to become a Jedi and I'm a Senator. There are strict rules that forbidden this. If we ever agree to do this, it will take us down a place we can't go. Regardless the way we feel about each other." 

His eyes widen as he listens to her, now knowing she did feel something. "Then you do feel something. Asuka, you can't deny the connection that is there."

"I will not let you give up the dream you work so hard for, Ani. I've listen to all your stories that you're so passionate and proud of. Ever since I first met you, Anakin, I knew you were meant to be a Jedi. So, please, listen to me as I say this. We can't happen." Asuka said with tears in her eyes. 

Anakin felt sadness, not only with him but in her as he knows she has no choice but to reject him. She wanted to be with him but he knows she's right. 

"Believe me, I wish that I could just wish away my feelings, but I can't." Anakin said as he walked slowly up to her. "And I can tell you don't want me too."

"I-I won't give into this. Anakin, please." Asuka sobs as she wipes the tears from her eyes. 

Anakin's hand tightened as he gazed down on her, crying. It was breaking his heart to see her cry like this. Then, an idea came to mind. 

"It won't have to be like that. We could keep it a secret." He said, softly. 

Asuka looks up at him in shock, she thought how could he even suggest that?

"Anakin, we would be living a lie. A lie that we know we can't keep. It would destroy us. We know we couldn't keep it from the people we care about. I can't live like this. Can you, Anakin? Could you lie to people and live like that?" 

"No. You're right. It would destroy us."
