I Could Really Use Somebody

Chapter 11

***Hayes's P.O.V***

I really wanted our first 'date' to be special. During one of our long nights of texts she told me that she loved video games so I decided that I would take her to the arcade.

"OMG Hayes!! You remembered!" Lauren exclaimed.

She ran inside completely ignoring my hug. Haha I guess she was that excited. I found her in front of the air hockey machine giving me a daring look.

"Oh your on." I say to her. "Just so you know, I am the best air hockey player I this planet. No pressure"

"Oh shut up." She replied rolling her eyes.

The game want on for about 19 minutes and needless to say, she kicked my ass. Geez I never knew she was that good at video games. It was quite hot.

2 hours later she beat me at every game in the freaking place. The way she smiled like an idiot every time she won a game was probably the cutest thing I had ever seen. It made me so happy that she was happy.

"Okay so I've officially beat you at everything, so I think we should get something to eat." Lauren said yawning.

"I'm hungry too but we forgot one thing..." She game me a confused look. All I did was point to the big picture booth to the right of us. She game me a cute smile and ran behind the curtain.

I got in with her and put the coins in and chose the border and all that stuff. For the first picture, We both made a cute face, second was her cuddled up to me. In between the 2nd and 3rd picture she looked at me and I couldn't take my eyes off her. It felt like the whole world stopped and it was just me and her. At that time I realized she was all I ever wanted and I was gonna do everything I could to protect her.

We both leaned in and kissed with so much passion that we both just smirked into the kiss. The camera snapped the last picture which scared us both so we pulled apart and started laughing.

The pictures were perfect. They were just so cute and adorable that I never wanted to forget that moment.

"Hayes, thank you so much for today. I really love spending time with you I think I might have some feeling for you..." Lauren spoke quietly.

I leaned in and whispered in her ear "I think I do too."
