TOSSING AND TURNING, Aurora sighed frustratedly as she laid wide awake.
Some nights were better than others, but some were far worse. She was scared to fall asleep, to see her father in her dreams again.
Carefully getting out of bed, Aurora puts on her cover up over her silk, blue nightgown.
Tip-toeing throughout the house to the front door, she quickly walked to the Mikaelson home.
Going to the window that belonged to Kol, Aurora gently knocked, hoping that he'd wake up.
Her hopes were answered, as a tired, Kol opened the window. Running his eyes, he questioned, "Aurora? What's wrong?"
"I can't sleep Kol."
Kol looks at her sadly before carefully sneaking out from his window, as he then grabs Aurora's hand.
In a whispered tone, Aurora asked, "Kol, where are we going?"
"You'll see, darling."

As they continue to walk down the trail, she realized, they were going to their spot.
Aurora smiling widely, she runs to the meadow full of her two favorite flowers, roses and daisy's.
If it was even possible, Kol smiled even wider. Seeing the person he secretly loves so happy, made him happy.
Kol gently grabs her hand, which she looked at him questionably.
"We're dancing silly," Kol said while smirking.
Aurora lets out a laugh as those were the words she told Kol, the very night they met.
Kol pulls her closely, as they slow dance under the moon and the sky full of stars.
As the two get a little tired, they decide to sit down. Looking at her lovingly, he placed his hand on her smooth cheek, and kissed her.
Aurora responds right away, smiling into the kiss.
Neither of them breaking the kiss, Kol gently lays her down. The kiss beginning to grow more hungrily and passionate.
The two pull away to take some time to breathe, looking into each other's eyes.
Breaking the silence, Kol says, "You are so beautiful, Rora."
Aurora smiles widely, kissing Kol once more, before whispering, "Kol, I'm ready."
Smiling, he says, "Are you sure, Darling?"
"I'm positive, lover boy."
As they kiss was more slow and loving, Kol says, "Let me know when you want me to stop, my love."
"Never. You are my home, Kol."
And in those moments, the two knew that they were each other's home and safe haven from whatever evil was out there.
