Holland's first night on tour was a bit of a blur. Calum had been hesitant to leave her side at all but he had been so sweaty that she had insisted on him taking a shower.

With him cleaned up, they'd slid into his bunk and the exhaustion of each of their days had taken over them, they had fallen asleep almost immediately upon boarding the bus.

When Holland woke the next morning, a lazy smile on her face, she snuggled closer to Calum. The heat from his bare skin kept her warm and his even breathing was comforting. She had missed being around him and now that she was, she couldn't fathom how she could possibly leave him again in only a few days.

The bus was no longer moving, they had driven through the night and arrived in St. Louis at some point, a new arena visible out of the tinted bus windows.

Calum's arm tightened around her waist in his sleep and she laid her head against his chest, the steady strum of his heart comforting her in the otherwise silent bus.

Her finger trailed over his bare skin, drawing random shapes and patterns to busy her mind until Calum cleared his throat and she tilted her chin so she could look at him. He blinked a few times before his eyes opened fully.

"Mornin'." He said, his morning voice stirring the butterflies that constantly filled her stomach when she was around him. "How did you sleep?"

"Surprisingly well considering how small this bed is." She smiled.

"You get used to it after a while." He said plainly. "I'm glad you got some rest though." He kissed her forehead and reached up to pull back the curtain that concealed them from the rest of the bus. He threw his legs over the side and stepped down before turning back to assist Holland as she clambered from the bunk.

She straightened the large T-shirt of his she was wearing and he wandered back to the bunk where the suitcases were and slipped a fresh shirt from his bag over his body, Holland frowned as his chest and tattoos were covered up. If she could have her way he'd be shirtless at all times.

"So what's the plan for today?" She asked him quietly, the pair of them settling on the couch in the front lounge, Holland in his arms as they lay next to each other, and speaking softly so as not to wake the others who were still asleep.

"Well, it's ten now." He said after checking the time on his phone. "Everyone else will be awake probably around noon. We can go get some breakfast or something in a minute once I wake up a bit more. When everyone's up, we have two interviews in our green room today and then sound check at four. Then we're free until the show. You're gonna watch, right?" He asked, tilting his chin down to look at her.

"No, I thought I'd fly all this way and just sit on the bus while you play." She said amused, a playful smile on her face as he scoffed and pulled her closer to him.

"Ha. Ha." He said dryly as she giggled.

"Of course I'm going to watch." She said, running her hand across his dyed blue hair and using her arm to push her self up to kiss his lips.

"In case I haven't said it enough Holls, I'm really glad you're here."

She kissed him again in response.

"Wanna get out of here? I can call a car and we can go get something to eat."

"This is really good." Holland praised as she took another bite of her egg white omelet. She and Calum were seated in a back corner booth of an unassuming diner. Calum had a hat pulled low over his head, though Holland supposed he could probably do without it here, the patrons appearing a bit older than what she figured they needed to be concerned about.
