Chapter 12

"Bakit nandito sila?" I whispered at him.

"Ewan ko." He shrugged.

Kakatapos lamang naming mag distribute ng cards nang makasalubong namin sila Sheen at Ardin. Ardin is wearing all black but unlike the man earlier, he doesn't look gloomy.

"Uy may date kayo?" Ardin asked.

Agad naman umiling si Lover. "Wala no. Tara, libre ko kayo."

"Woah? What happened? May lagnat ka ba?" Ardin asked, amused.

"I smell something fishy." Pang aasar ni Sheen.

"Huh? May amoy isda ba talaga? Baka si Ardin yun?" Lover said, innocently.

Napa face palm na lamang ako sa tinuran niya. "Anong ililibre mo saamin?" I asked, diverting the topic.

"Kain tayo ng mangga." –Lover

Ardin pouted and he whispered something to Lover. Agad namang lumayo si Lover at tinakpan pa niya ang sarili niyang ilong. "Ikaw nga yung amoy isda!" He pointed to Ardin.

"Nag tooth brush ako!' Ardin said.

"Weehhh?" Lover teased him.

Ardin smirked. "Alam niyo ba, kaya mahilig sa suka si Lover?"

Here he goes again.

"Kasi, buntis siya." Ardin pointed Lover's belly bump. "Look ang laki ng bilbil niya oh!"

"Atleast hindi mukhang kalansay na gaya mo!" Lover fighted back.

Ang bangayan nila ay bigla na lamang nauwi sa paghahabulan nilang dalawa. I sighed. They look like kids. It's so annoying.

Am I really old enough to think that their actions are too childish?

I turned my gaze at Sheen. He's smiling from ear to ear while watching Ardin and Lover. "Aren't they too childish?"

He looked at me. "They are. Always."

"Doesn't it bother you?" I asked. I am aware that they are planning to make a band. If they are up to that dream, then they have to be serious about it.

"I'll never remove childishness from them." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's them. They are happy. Besides, they don't have to be serious always." He said.

I nodded but I don't really understand. They are always playing. Lagi na lang silang tumatawa at nag aasaran na para bang wala silang dala dalang kahit na ano.

Matapos nilang maghabulan ay agad kaming dumiretso sa isang mango stall. "Ito na yun?' I asked Lover.

Akala ko pa naman ay bongga ang pambawi niya saakin. Again, those ten minutes felt like forever! Imagine what I felt during those minutes where I am standing all alone, turning my head from right to left.

Lover nodded while chewing a slice of mango.

"Sus, kuripot talaga." Ardin commented.

"Oy! 50 pesos kaya yan tapos ang konti pa!" Pagdadahilan ni Lover.

Truly, parang limang hiwa lang ng mangga itong hawak ko pero 50 pesos na talaga.

I noticed that Ardin is standing one and a half meter away from us. He's just eyeing us while smirking. Ardin is not arrogant; his mind is just crazy enough to automatically produce weird actions.

"Ayaw mo ba?" I asked.

"Oy, wag mo nang pilitin. Baka pumayag." Lover said.

"No worries. Kahit pilitin mo pa ako, hindi ako papayag."
