This is Comet the spacegirl and her guinea pig Nokki. Need I say anything else.
Why a guinea pig would be in space, with its own space suit, while the owner is in the middle of a gunfight I have no idea. The logic of a 9 year old, I guess. All hail the children.
Toffee spent her entire day on these characters and was so excited when she showed them to me that I could help but redraw them for her. I can report that I almost had my ribcage crushed when she hugged me. I'm glad she loved it.
I'm not as comfortable with digital as I am with traditional, but I make do. It can be really fun playing around with different layers and such. But I'd still take my watercolours any day.
