*When you realise that you haven't posted since Halloween*

I've been experimenting with digital painting recently, I'm not very good at it, so to keep me in my comfort zone while I work, I decided to repaint some of my old art because I'm a sentimental old plant pot.

I like this one a lot, and I'm really pleased with the background. Landscapes are something I struggle with, but I like it. I think it came out ok.

I basically ripped off My Neighbour Totoro. It's a great movie. Watch it.

Although I'm not exactly happy with how this one was painted, I do like the mysterious look to it and the fact that it doesn't look like as much of a blatant my neighbour Totoro ripoff anymore. Hurrah.

Did I spend 3 hours redrawing this because my friend pink_cassette had an awful day and I love her? Yes. Now go give Pink some love because she deserves it.

And last but not least, the Akiko drawing I did for my dear pal a while ago.  I've always loved this piece, but I never really thought I captured Akikos character. I drew her kinda squishy, and she looks very designer, when in truth I think she was supposed to be a street kid? So I changed things up a tad.

She looks a lot older in the redraw, which wasn't intended, but I much prefer the pose and general composition. It was a very experimental piece, and compared to how most of my experimental pieces go, it looks ok?
