The dancers finally arrived and I blended with my people happy to get away from the celebrities. My roomies hugged me saying they were worried about me I got tapped on the shoulder
“hi” a girl said, I recognized her as the girl who had been hanging on Stark during practice
“hi” I said unsure of her motives, was I about to get punched in the face?
“I’m Lindsey” she introduced herself holding a hand out
“Sammie” I shook her hand warily still not sure if I should duck
“I just wanted to let you know, I know that those rumors aren't true so no worries I hope there aren’t any hard feelings?” she asked smiling, she seemed nice even though her eyes defiantly had some evil qualities about them.
“Good I was wondering where I could find you to explain, he was just helping” I told her smiling even though I doubted her happiness
“yes I am sorry about your foot did the doctor say when you could dance again?” she asked looking worried, this girl was a mystery she didn’t really seem fake at all but all the things I had heard screamed different things about her
“Well he said a few days but I’m going to be dancing again tomorrow I nearly died of boredom today” I told her laughing
“Well it was nice to meet you but I should probably be going, friends?” she said as her friends walked by with a room key dangling from their fingers
“Yeah” I smiled nodding, she smiled one last time at me before walking away “well she seems nice” I said turning back to my roomies
“Yeah she did actually” Kara mused seeming a bit shocked
“Yeah she’s a sweetie” the girl sighed who had told me Lindsey hadn’t been happy this morning
“You made her sound like a bitch” I scoffed at the girl
“I did?” she gasped “I didn’t mean to at all! She is one of the nicest people I know!” she said shocked
“Maybe I just misjudged her” I shrugged as they called our names Kara went to get the room key
We walked into the elevator with a few other people I stood there looking out of the elevator’s windows as we got farther away from the fancy lobby. We reached the same height as the trees when the elevator stopped and we got off wandering slowly down the carpeted halls trying to find our room. We found it and Kara slid our room key into the slot she pushed on the door and it opened revealing a very nice hotel room in front of us. I hauled my bag in then plopped onto the bed rubbing my sleepy face into the fabric I sat up looking around. I went to go examine the coffee and teas while also looking through all the goodies the hotel offered us. One of the girls flipped through the directory
“Who wants to go exploring?!” I shouted excitedly
“I do!” Kara shouted with another one of the girls
“I think we’ll stay here maybe we should go swimming” the other girls mused
“See you girls later” I shouted at them as we exited I turned to the girl “I’m sorry but what is your name again?” I asked sheepishly
“Oh it’s fine I’m Sarah” she grinned
“Hi Sarah I’m Sammie” I told her grinning
“Shh” Kara hushed “I don’t think we are allowed out of our rooms unless we have a security guard” she stated
“well we sure the hell aren’t getting a security guard so come on” I said sneakily getting lower to the ground, I backed away from the railing so no one could see us unless the person was in the same hallway as us. We crept over to the elevator pressing the button but decided against it quickly rushing over to the stairs trying to conceal our giggles. As soon as the door to the stairs closed we burst out laughing before continuing down the stairs hoping around and making jokes. We got to the bottom of the stairs and opened the door cautiously before proceeding out into the side wings of the lobby. I crept as quietly as I could in my giant space boot. I really hated this stupid boot. We were nearly at the desk and we didn’t want to go over there, there was probably a security guy by the door or the desk. I crept up behind one of the pillars and leaned around one of them to see if there was anyone in the lobby we should be hiding from. Not a single body guard in sight, although the guy who had given me his number was sitting there with his buddies talking about stupid guy stuff. They are so loud I thought annoyed with them at first impression.
