It's not like I wouldn't have been happy to see Tyler. It was just all too much.
When Logan called to tell me that Tyler from the coffee shop actually was the Tyler I'd met and kissed in Newport, I had an internal-external freakout. It started internally with my heart going thump thump thump thump thump at like, a really fast pace. And then it escalated and turned external when I collapsed onto my kitchen floor and lay there, unsure of how to react. Like, I wasn't freaking out in a bad way. There was nothing bad about knowing that Tyler, the first guy I kissed who also happened to be so vivid in my memories, was legitimately here.
